Months passed. And all the months were like dream. Like being in heaven.

Six blissful months.

Wei Ying had two choices that day.
One was Lan Zhan, his love, vast freedom and true happiness.

Second was Jiang Wanyin, his domination, a golden cage full of luxuries and tortures.

And Wei Ying, obviously, choose the former. And he choose right. He trusted his life, his faith, his destiny, everything in Lan Zhan's hand. And Lan Zhan held them with utmost care and was still protecting them.

That day, they escaped via the back of the university. After crossing the almost endless woodland, behind the university building, they reached a short almost broken fence, and beyond that short fence was a very old railway track.

They crossed the fence, and started following the track. After, what felt like ages, they came to a place where the old track merged with new tracks.

And these were not like the track they followed, old unused. These were the ones currently in use. Goods train were parked there and started and ended their journey there. There were several train garages and the best thing was that, the place was remote. Probably only workers came there.

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji, though tired as hell, didn't stop for a second. They kept running, walking whatever but persuading their journey without pause. Wei Wuxian kept checking his watch. Until the college hours are not finished, they are still safe.

Because, once the college hours finished, and he didn't come out of college in the late afternoon, the bodyguard would immediately call Jiang Wanyin and a witch hunt for him would start instantly.

So, they had to elope far, far away before that. Luckily, they found and boarded an ongoing train that day and escaped.
