Welcome back to the AfterDark interviews. I am so very sorry about the wait, but believe me, once you'll see who I have interviewed for you, you will forget all about it.

Today, I present the amazing CosmicAxel. If you by any chance don't know her, pay attention and be sure to swing by her profile, because this lady can capture your attention with her stories in a matter of few paragraphs. Her characters are unconventional, her storylines fresh and original, and her hot and steamy scenes are remarkable.

Without further ado, let's begin.

Hello and welcome!
For our followers who don't know you yet, tell us who is CosmicAxel. (what you are comfortable sharing)

CosmicAxel
Well, I'm a military veteran in my late twenties.
TBH I'm not great at Bio.

Rasha007
No worries, this says quite a lot. Why did you leave the army?

CosmicAxel
Medical and personal reasons. The personal reasons I go into a little with each female MC I create.

Rasha007
Was it when you ended that career that it dawned upon you that you wanted to be a writer? Or did you write before that?

CosmicAxel
I started writing after my divorce.

Rasha007
How did that happen? Not the divorce, I mean what made you take up the pen and start writing?

CosmicAxel
I was in therapy during my marriage, as I was trying to leave an abusive relationship. I was asked to make a list of pros and cons of my relationship with my husband and what I felt was missing from my needs. A few months after I was a safe distance from him, I found WP through an author on Kindle and started reading books. I noticed there weren't emotionally available or supportive men in the romances I was reading. So I started writing in the summer of 2017, A Demon Too Many.

Rasha007
Wow! That was one writing marathon. Does writing energize or exhaust you? Did it make you feel better?

CosmicAxel
It made me feel better. It was writing therapy and still is for me.

Rasha007
That's amazing. How often do you write? Do you have a set schedule for writing, or do you write only when you feel inspired?

CosmicAxel
I used to. A chapter a week at about 3.5-5k in words depending on what the characters want everyone to know.

Rasha007
Do you have a day job? Or are you focusing solely on writing?

CosmicAxel
I have a day job. I'm a manager.

When I started writing I was working two jobs (12hrs a day Mon-Fri) So I had a set few hours to write and post on WP.
