1. Why Past in the Spotlight?

The title was brainstormed by Ate Joy delos Santos (Majestrimeee). Our book was all about the PAST, and since the two main characters are stars (actor and actress), the word SPOTLIGHT was also there.

2. Is this only for Filipino readers?

No. Although the story focuses on Filipino history, it is also written on the point of view of a foreigner (a Korean in this story). If you can't understand Tagalog, then so is he.

3. Why a Korean actor?

Perhaps you might be asking why we chose a Korean character in Filipino-themed historical fiction. My answer is that I would like other people from any other country to know our culture. Even though you are not Filipino, you are still special in this story.

4. Why did the collaboration end?

The collaboration was not successful, yet I am still here to finish what we started. Why did it end? It is because of Ate Joy's personal problems. However, maybe when a sequel happens, she could come back.

6. Is this accurate?

I did research for the events that happened in history. What we did is add a little fiction to history to tell our own story. Some of the events, especially the conversations between the people from the past to the time travelers, are not real.

I also pay attention to my History class teacher, read books in our library, watch historical films, and browse the internet to make sure that the important events in history that would be mentioned in the story is accurate.

7. What is our nationality?

We're both Filipinos.

9. What inspired us?

This story was inspired by the several historical films I watched, the inspiring stories of the Philippine heroes, and for our undying passion for history.

1. How did I cope with the Spanish words?

Mostly, I translated it through Google. However, I knew some basic words. I've been studying different languages almost seven years from now. Spanish had been the longest and the first language that caught my interest.

I also studied Chinese, Japanese, Italian, etc.

2. Is this published in other sites?

No! So if you see it on other websites besides Wattpad, please report it because it is stolen from us!
