Eight grade.

"Nini."

"Now, Manoban what's with the cheesy nickname?"

"Well, your name's too long  and you don't really like the other names I used, so why not give you a nickname, right?" I said while grinning at her.

We are already in high school. Oh how time flies by so fast. But fortunately we are still classmate and each other's seat mate.

"Well, I also don't like it and stop grinning, you fool. You look like a happy monkey." She said glaring.

"Admit it, it's cute and you like it. Nini." I say teasing her.

"Can you leave me alone, Lisa?" She asked.

"Nope. Life would be boring without you."

"What?"

"What? I like annoying you, so?"

"And apparently it's the only  thing you're good at." She said sassily.

"But, you like it though and my new nickname for you."

"Whatever. Now, stop talking to me."

"Actually, I have a que-"

"Hey Jen!" V called out, interrupting me.

"Hey Tae." She said shyly. Why does she gets so bashful around him?

I hate it.

I rolled my eyes. Here he goes again.

"Hey M." He said once he was in front of our desk.

"V, what do you want?" I asked slightly irritated.

"Well, I just want to give Jennie her lunch. She forgot hers-"

I snatched the brown paper bag from his grip before Jennie can get a hold of it.

"Okay, Jennie said thank you. You can leave now. Go, V." I said quickly making him go away.

"Hey, Lisa! That's rude. And thanks, Tae."

"Hahaha, it's alright. You're welcome though. See you, Jen." He looks at her.

"See you."

"M."

I just nodded.

"Yah! Monkey, why are you so rude to Tae?!" She asked glaring at me.

"He's my bestfriend, I can be rude to him whenever I want." I replied.

"And says the girl who always flirts with him." I said irritated.

"What flirting? I do not flirt with him nor flirt with anyone."

"I don't care."

"Well, I also don't ca-"

"Hey, Nini have you finished doing the project in math?" I cut her off.

"Why would I tell you?"

"Because, I'm asking you."

"It's none of your business anyway."

"So, have you finished it?"

"Look Lisa, I don't have time for your-"

"Shhh, Nini, just answer me." I said softly.

"Ugh! No, I haven't finished it yet. Happy now?!"

"Yeah because you're already annoyed." I said giggling.

"You're a stupid monkey, you know?"

"But you like this stupid monkey, Nini." I teasingly say. Smirking at her.

Her cheeks reddened and I couldn't help the warmth that spreads inside of my tummy.

"I-i don't like you!" She replied defensively and blushes more.

I just laugh. God, she's so adorable.

Jennie is growing more pretty each day. I don't know how. She's just so pretty.

Okay, fine. I like her.

Since the first grade. But I only realized last year, and now it's all I can think about.

But can you blame me? Look at her, she's so adorable and look so squishy.

Sarcastic, sassy, a little bit of rude and definitely hates me.

And I like her more despite all of that.

Fighting with her is fun. So, is annoying her.

But my favorite thing doing is making her smile and laugh.
