Chapter 27: Not so great Halloween

Halloween is my favorite holiday, I mean it would be my favorite holiday, if I wasn't stuck home being grounded, because I wasn't smart enough with the pranks I pulled on the neighbors last year.

Now my dad grounded me this Halloween as punishment. How am I on punishment for something I did last year! Does that make sense to you? I don't think so... I think I was was allowed to have my phone and tv since my dad never took it from me, but I wasn't allowed to step foot outside.

I went on twitter and tweeted "who else is being punished on Halloween for something they did last year."

I got a lot of likes and tweets after a couple minutes of posting the tweet, because I have a lot of followers that's follows me mostly because of my brothers.

I was staying at Kevin and Danielle this year for Halloween, because a couple of days ago was was Valentina's birthday and mom wanted to go trick or treating with her grand babies. This time Joe was here, Nick was here a couple of days ago for Valentina's birthday party.

I was watching a horror movie, when someone turned off the tv.

Melissa: hey, I was watching that!

Kevin gave me a look and I back down my anger and crossed my arm.

Kevin: Aren't you supposed to be grounded?
Melissa: aren't you supposed to be worrying about your own kids and not what your little sister is doing
Kevin: dad!
Melissa: o-okay! okay!

I said stopping him from calling dad.

Melissa: He didn't say I couldn't watch television no need to call dad on me
Kevin: if dad didn't give you a list while being grounded, he expect you to know the rules, and you know my rules about watching horror movies in the house while I have two little girls running around the house
Melissa: aren't they getting ready for trick or treating or something?
Kevin: yes and they'll be down any minute
Dad: *comes in from the kitchen* you needed me son?
Melissa: not anymore, you can go now!

They both give me look and I dropped my eyes to the ground and Kevin said.

Kevin: I caught your daughter watching television. I told her no horror movies while staying at my house as well
Dad: little girl, look at me
Melissa: *looks at him*
Dad: is it true what Kevin said?
Melissa: *mumbles* part of it
Dad: which part?
Melissa: the whole thing, but you didn't say I couldn't watch televisions
Dad: doesn't matter, when I say you're grounded, you should know what I meant by that
Melissa: ugh this is so unfair!
Dad: it's only for one night kiddo. I think you can survive a day of grounding
Melissa: by keeping me lock up in the house with nothing to do? I doubt it

I heard dad sigh and movements, I look up and saw he had left. I look at Kevin and he looked disappointed.

Melissa: what?
Kevin: he's really trying here Mel, stop pushing him. You may not like it but trust me you will thank him for doing what he did when you get older
Melissa: how is that?
Kevin: trust me, when you become older like me, and become a father. It will make a whole lot sense
Melissa: I don't think I'll be a mother for a while anyways with 4 over protective brother on my case
Kevin: damn straight

I rolled my eyes, and he came over to me and kiss the top of my head and I smiled.

Alena: *comes down the stairs* daddy, look at me! I'm a pretty princess!
Kevin: yes you're bug *lifts her up*
Melissa: hey, that's my nickname!
Kevin: *looks at me* oh sorry bug

I huff crossing my arms.

Alena: yea daddy, I'm no bug. I'm a princess
Kevin: sorry princess, I forgot.

Kevin sat down next to me and put Alena on his lap as he put his arm around me and snuggle into his shoulder.

Melissa: I love you Kevy
Kevin: I love you tons bug *kiss top of forehead*
Alena: I love you 3000
Kevin: *smiles* I love you 3000 *kiss cheek*
Melissa: *raise eye brow* you let her watch Avengers?
Kevin: she fell asleep to some of the movie anyways
Alena: that movie was too long...
Melissa: I bet
Kevin: I love you girls
Melissa: love you too Kevy
Alena: love you too daddy

Kevin started tickling the both us, and I grabbed Alena from him to protect her and me, but Kevin just found away to tickle us, until it was time to go trick or treating.
