Oc/reader is a nobody. It doesn't help her/his right eye needs to be covered by an eyepatch, along with more scars. In a world where beauty is coveted above all else, a single disfiguration is cause for scorn. Anything unattractive shall be banished from the social hierarchy. Reader/oc is a meager maid/butler where nobody has to gaze upon her/his hideous disfigurement. No remembrance of her/his foggy past. All she/he remembers is a black darkness from long ago. When she/he meets a powerful ally. She/he  goes up the ranks. Playing a dangerous court game, where one wrong move can send her/him toppling down the chess board. Can she/he keep the attention of the young prince also known as the future king? Can she/he handle her/his  growing power without forgetting her true self? In this court of roses, on the outside it's pretty. Look on the inside its full of black roses with razor sharp thorns.
