                          Felix's POV
I woke up feeling something soft and squishy in my right-hand palm.
Groaning I forcibly opened my eyes, I got out the bed going to the bathroom, took a piss in the toilet and searched for an extra toothbrush before taking a shower while using the coconut scented body wash I got my hands on.
After cleaning myself up for the day and putting back on the clothes I wore the previous night.
I made my way downstairs to find Eniola since I didn't see her on the bed when I woke up.
"Enny, Enny where are you?" I called out her name in the empty cold halls.
I walked around the house until I found her having breakfast on the balcony facing the backyard of her mini-mansion home. She looked so unbothered, carefree, the sun gleaming on her dark milky chocolate skin and that surreal smile playing on her tantalizing lips.
The way she sat so elegant and graceful, legs crossed, her fingers with the pinky shooting out as she lifted the hot cup of tea to her lips, while the other held onto the base.
Taking a small sip, she sighed contentedly.
I decided to make my presence known; coughing loudly.
Eniola turns to my direction with a wide grin.
"Hi" The sultry tone of her voice stirred something in me.
"Hey" I breathed out instinctively waving my hand until I realized what I was doing and stopped myself.
Eniola laughed while gently placing the teacup back on the table.
She stood up making her way towards me and lunges her body into mine.
My natural instinct told to wrap my arms around her.
I closed my eyes nuzzling my face into her delectable neck, immediately her sweet perfume fills my head.
It felt like we were in a loving embrace for hours until Eniola pulls back, then leans in to peck me in both cheeks purposely avoiding my lips.
"How did you sleep?" She asked holding my hand in hers leading up to the table.
"I slept well since I was with you" I respond sending a teasing wink.
Placing a fine porcelain plate of food directly in front of me.
I dug into the food, eating so fast she had to warn me to ease up on the rushing.
I finished the delicious breakfast tiredly patting my belly making her laugh out loud.
Eniola gazes down in her wristwatch her eyes widen.
"Bloody hell, time went by so fast!" She said alertly running back into the house.
I walked behind her asking what was wrong.
Eniola came back downstairs with new pairs of shoes and a fancy leather bag.
She walks over to the coat hanger taking my jacket off it and helping me put it on.
She exits the house locking the door behind her while I waited patiently.
"You have work and I have some unfinished business with someone, at 9 am. I'll call you when I get off work. Have a wonderful day darling" Eniola informs waving and blowing kisses my way before strutting off to the other direction.
I playfully caught the kisses placing them in my heart, smiling to myself as walked across the road where my motorcycle was parked last night.
                       Eniola's POV
Earlier this morning I had reached out to Mr. Kristos's secretary telling her to relay a message to her boss for me.
I will be meeting him at this uptown restaurant around the heart of the Big Apple.
Whatever games he's playing at needs to stop because I'm not having it.
I've been waiting for this bloody bloke to arrive for almost 20 minutes now.
I have things to do at the gallery instead of sitting here.
As I was bout to get up from the chair, I felt someone's hand come in contact with my shoulder.
"Please sit back down" I recognized the owner of the southeastern European voice.
"Since you kept me waiting for so long, I should leave but I'm not going to do that because I wanted to speak with you," I said distastefully blatantly eying him down.
"Well good morning to you Ms. Eniola," He said in a sarcastic tone, lifting two fingers up to signal for a waiter.
A beautiful young black girl came over to the table and took me and Mr. Kristos' orders.
A few minutes of us sitting in silence she came back placing our individual drinks on the wooden table.
Drinking a small portion of my coffee, I spoke up.
"Mr. Kristos, I don't appreciate what you did a few nights ago. It was highly unprofessional, you showing up to my home unnoticed and making up a false statement. I really don't like that." I snarled at the foolish man in front of me.
"Eniola let's speak formally please call me James" I frowned at the arrogance.
"As I said, Mr. Kristos, I want an apology," I said sternly glaring at him.
James sat up clasping his hands together leaning forward
"Can l let you onto some unknown truth?" I hesitatingly nod my head.
"We were supposed to be engaged to each other after the deal was closed 2 and the half years ago" I spat the iced coffee I was drinking to the side, coughing.
"What!?" I asked baffled at the reveal.
"Shocking isn't it? The sudden death of your late father put the process to a halt and eventually, your stepmother reached out to me 6 months ago telling me the arrangement was off." I sat there taking in the unsettling news.
"Did she give you a reason?" I asked looking out the window of the restaurant.
He sat back lifting the whiskey glass to his lips.
'Why is he drinking this early?' I shook my head in disapproval.
"That's not something I can answer," He said drowning the fluid in the glass.
"Since the arrangement was called off, I decided to court you properly" I burst out laughing small tears in the corner of my eyes.
James looked angered by my laughing.
"I mean it, Eniola" He banged his hand on the table.
I stood up grabbing my bag and placed a crisp $10 bill under the glass cup.
"Yeah, good luck with that," I told him laughing one last time walking out the establishment.
