My dearest,
I talked to the doctor today.
He said you’re getting better.
You don’t know how happy I am to hear that.
It wasn’t the best of days for anyone today.
You were angry and tried to hit me.
I miss you.I hate walking down those perfectly white halls to your room.
I hate having to sign in just to see you.
I hate what the medication does to your mood.Your mother is worried sick about you.
She loves you so much.
So do I.
I hope that is one of the things you remember, if you remember anything at all.
They are trying out a new treatment on you tomorrow, we will see if it helps.
Come back to me.
Please. The dogs are barking twenty-four seven now you’re gone.
I always forget to collect the mail.
The dish washer broke again.
The bed is so much bigger sleeping alone.
I know you are slowly getting there.
Your mind may be a little foggy, but I can see the brightness in your face.
You even smiled when I tucked your hair behind your ear.
One day, you’ll come back.
It’ll be like you just woke up from a bad dream. But I know I lose a little part of you each time.
And one day, I might lose you altogether.
When that day comes, I will lose myself too.
And we can be together again.Darling, please.
I know how hard you are fighting.
I can see it in your eyes.
Don’t give up.
Because no matter how far you stray from me,
I will always be here waiting to have you back in my arms again. You are so Beautiful.
I love you.
