Green-Grey Eyes

They were an intense green,

with a trace of a very pretty grey,

blending in.

They grey shone as mirrors

in the sunlight,

while the green would become more vibrant,

and the grey

pale.

But in the moonlight,

when they stared at the dark dark sky,

gleaming with millions

of tiny stars,

the grey,

it became more deep,

covering the green.

They would stare steadily,

more deeper than any eyes could be,

taking in all the beauty,

becoming more alive,

by each second,

a beauty of their own.
