At last, we arrived safe and sound. I look at the surrounding it really nice here. The ambiance is so wonderful. Perfect for a date. We're walking through the entrance when someone noticed us.
"Hi there Ocean. You look stunning tonight." - The pretty lady said while giving Ocean's a tight hug.
After they greeted each other. Ocean introduced me to her friend.
"Blanche, I want you to meet my friend. Her name is Dianna Ckaress. And babe she is Blanche, one of my colleague." I smiled at her and she did the same.
"She's pretty Ocean. No doubt." We're now heading inside the hotel. While we're walking the two are talkinf about medicine. And they want me to join to their conversation so I'm butting my self in.
Nang makarating kami sa loob ay maraming bumati sa kasama ko lalo na kay Ocean. At pinakakilala niya ako sa mga kaibigan niya. Tanging tango at ngiti lamang ang aking nagagawa. Dahil nahihiya pa rin ako.
"Hey Ocean. You look gorgeous tonight." - Said the man behind her. Bigla naman akong nahiya.
"As always Wayne. And you too, you look good. By the way, this is Ckaress my classmate. Don't you dare to court her Wayne I'm warning ya." - And the man just chuckled. Well he's good looking no doubt. But he's not my type. I saw his hand. He's offering me a hand shake. And I'm not rude, so I gladly accept his hand. He smiled at me and of course I did the same.
" Hands off Wayne. God, don't flirt her okay. She's different among your women." - Maarteng saad ni Ocean na ikinatawa naman ni Wayne at ni Blanche na tuwang tuwa sa nakikita. Pagkatapos nang eksenang yun ay nagsilapit na din ang iba pang kaibigan ni Ocean. Halatang galing sila sa marangyang pamilya. Dahil ang ilan sa kanila ay anak ng doctor, abogado, at karamihan ay anak ng mga business entrepreneurs. They gladly welcomed me. And I'm happy.
"So let's eat now guys. By the way. Where is Travis. I haven't seen him yet." One of Ocean's friend asked. I bet his name is Red. The chinito guy. He's nice at me a while ago.
"He'll come. Malelate lang siya ng 20 minutes." Sagot ni Wayne na pinakita ang kanyang phone. Na ang ibig sabihin ay ka-text niya ang tinutukoy ni Red.
Ilang sandali pa ay kumain na kami. Abala ang iba na kumuha ng kanilang pagkain ng umupo muna ako dahil nangangalay na ako. Saktong pag-upo ko ay nagvibrate ang phone ko. So I fished my phone from my purse and I saw an update again from my fandom in KPOP. Habang hindi pa ako kumukuha ng pagkain ay inabala ko muna ang aking sarili sa pagtingin ng mga updates. At tinignan ko na din ang ilang update about sa wattpad. I'm busy browsing my phone when Ocean sit beside me. And I look at her.
"Do you need anything babe?" - I asked her while still browsing on my phone. She just shook her head.
"Nah, I'm fine babe. Ikaw bakit di ka pa kumuha ng food mo? Tara let's eat na." She's pointing her plates that full of food. Ang takaw niya pero hindi naman tumataba. Parang ako lang. Magkaibigan nga kami HAHAHAHA.
"Heto nga kukuha na ako. Baka may gusto ka pang idagdag. Kukuha ako para hindi ka na babalik sa buffet." As I suggest. Wayne interrupt me.
"I'll accompany you Ckaress." - I just waved my hand saying that I'm fine. And he just smiled. So I stood up and walk through the buffet table and get a plate, fork and spoon. As I get rice,and buttered chicken and mushroom soup. Sa sobrang dami ng mga pagkain natakam ako bigla. Pero konti lang kinuha ko dahil nahihiya ako. As I get moon cake and brownies for desserts. I heard a not familiar voice.
"I'm sorry I'm late. Something came up. Thanks for inviting Ocean." I just shrugged it off and continue getting food for Ocean. When I get all the food and drinks that I want, I decided to go back on our table. As I put my plate on the table. Ocean held my wrist, at pinaharap ako sa bagong dating na bisita. I stunned when I saw his visitor. I think I forgot to breathe. Hindi ko na lang pinahalata.
"Travis I wanna meet you my friend, Ckaress. Ckaress this is Travis one of my colleagues and Travis this is Ckaress my beautiful friend." - Ocean said happily. I don't know what to do so I just grin. He cleared his throat and speak.
"Nice to meet you." He plainly said, after that he walk towards the buffet table and grab some drinks.
"Babe excuse me. I'll just talk to him okay. Don't worry he's nice. - She assured me and left me for a while and she followed that man.
Nang maupo ako ay kumain na lang ako habang kumakain ay agad naman akong tinabihan ni Red.
" Pasensya ka na dun Ckaress. Ganun lang talaga siya. Like what Ocean said. Travis is nice." - I just smiled at him because to be honest I don't know what to say. So I continued eating these foods. While we're eating, Kasama ko kasi sina Red at Wayne pero si Blanche ay nasa kabilang table at may kausap na lalaki. Maybe one of her colleagues also. We're talking about life. They asked me about my family and if kung paano kami nagkakilala ni Ocean.And also they got amaze dahil sa course ko. Same kasi kami ni Ocean. At napag-alaman kong medicine din pala ang kinuha ni Wayne, isa na siyang intern ngayon. While Red, He's taking up business management and same as with their other friends. And they also said that Travis is an intern also. Ang pogi sanang doctor kaya lang mukhang masungit siya. And I also feel that he is void. So, iiwasan ko siya dahil natatakot ako.
After we ate, they decided to drink for a while. The boys are holding a glass of whiskey while the girls except me. They're holding a glass of wine. Ayaw kong uminom hindi dahil sa bawal.I just don't like. Mayroon kasi akong hyper acidity so it's a no no. Baka ma award ako ni Mama mahirap na.
Tahimik lang ako sumisimsim ng iced tea ko habang nakikisali paminsan minsan sa kanilang usapan. Hindi ako hinahayaan ni Ocean na ma-out of place. She's always make sure that I'm comfortable with them. While sipping my juice I felt that someone is staring at me. At hindi nga ako nagkamali, Travis is staring me intently. And it's giving me a goosebumps. I just let out a sigh and shrugged it off.
The next day.....
I woke up early because I still have class. I decided to do my morning rituals and when I'm ready. I went downstairs to eat my breakfast. As I walk through the kitchen. I already saw my parents even my sister and Nana Minda our mayordoma.
"Good morning everyone." I greeted them and I kissed them one by one.
"Good morning too sweetheart. How's sleep?" - Mama greeted me while she's preparing my meal. I mouthed 'thanks' and she just smiled.
"It was great Ma. Ay Ma,sa Saturday na pala yung concert ng EXO. Papaalam na po ako." I said while putting nutella on my bread.
"Ganun ba? Oh Pa, nagpapaalam na ang panganay natin. Payagan na natin dahil deserves nila kahit papaano ang magrelax. And besides sembreak na next week." Papa put down his newspaper and sipping a coffee. He look at me nodded while grinning.
Akma kong yayakapin si Papa ng mapatayo si Cyril at impit na tumili. Sabi na eh naghahanap lang ng tiyempo tong kapatid ko.
" Yieeh thank you so much Papa. And also Ma, thank you po pinayagan niyo kami ni ate. I love you Ma, Pa." We hugged each other as we ate breakfast happily. Kasabay na rin naming kumain si Nana Minda. And she's beyond happy for us. I know that.
After I finished my food. I went back at my room to get my bag and of course I will brush my teeth also. After a few minutes I'm done. I put a lip tint and cheek tint. And I spray my favorite perfume, vanilla scent. After checking out my self. I went downstairs and I saw Papa and Cyril waiting for me.
"Let's go girls. Baka ma-late pa kayo sa school. Bye Ma. Ikaw na muna bahala dito sa bahay at sa eatery. I love you." How sweet.
"Sana all." - Singit ni Cyril na ikinatawa naming lahat.
We arrived safe and sound. We bid our goodbye to Papa. I feel ecstatic today. As I walk through the corridor, my schoolmate noticed me and she greeted me. And because I'm happy so I greeted her back. Ganito ako kasaya dahil naeexcite ako sa concert ng EXO. At dahil sophomore na ako medyo madami daming events ang nagaganap. May kpop event sa school namin. Oh bongga ang school namin. May pa event ang may ari ng school. Mainggit kayo charot. Peace. At dahil kpop fan kami ni Ocean ay isa ang section namin sa magpeperform. I'm kinda excited for that. We will perform maybe yung Growl na lang. Ang astig kasi.
But it will held next month so. I'll stay chill first. But for now. I need to focus on our upcoming examination.
