Limbo is nothing but a blur. I could barely even remember Arrietta.

Oh Arrietta, what have I done?

"You have made a grave mistake, child"

" Arrietta?! Is that you?!" I call out

"You should never have left me behind. I was the last hope for the world. I could've saved us all" She replied

"Then why didn't you tell me? I could've helped"

" Daedran controls your mind. He controls whatever sanity you have left. You could never help if you wanted to." Arrietta says

How can she say this? I thought we had trust in each other.

"We never had trust."Arrietta says, reading my thoughts.

"I used you for a way out. You ruined everything! But now, you pay the price for your betrayal" Arrietta says. Only, it wasn't Arrietta. It was her voice, but it was morphing into the one thing that will ever scare me.

"NO! PLEASE, Daedran leave me ALONE! NO!" I manage to shriek.

"You ignorant child! Did you think you could hoodwink me?! You could never, for I am Daedran, Keeper-of-Souls. You have nowhere to hide. Anything could be an illusion, much like Arrietta. There is no such thing as sanity here. Welcome to hell." Daedran says

I pleaded, I cried, I shrieked. He feasted on my agony and fear.

Hope is gone.

Sanity is gone.

Everything is gone.

Daedran saw to that.

He ripped out all I have.

He won.

This war is over.
