Its was the voice of death, the voice of the person who would take you away from your loved ones.

" Please, Daedran, is it my day? You say how I sometimes get one day out of every 365 away from you, away from the Midnight Madness. Is it my birthday?" I ask pleadingly

" Well, I WAS going to give you one, ONE special day, other than that. But, I don't quite care for your tone, I haven't quite broken you, you still have a small flicker of hope inside you." he says, voice dripping with evil

" Please, it's all I ask" I say

" Then you ask much, too much" Daedran says

" Just not the mind, it's all I ask of you, physical pain, please"

" Let me think about it" he says

I have never actually seen Daedran, until now. He was not demon, nor devil. But what I saw was much worse than that, he was human, or so it seems. He had pale skin, slightly disproportionate legs and raven hair. But it was the eyes, they were not human, much like a cat's, except red, blood red. Just looking at him terrifies me. He doesn't reappear, he had simply melted into the shadows it seemed. Then I see it, a mirror. I see myself, long beautiful blonde hair, milky white skin, soft features, and my violet eyes. Then it morphs, into something much different, much darker. Me, if I were like Daedran. I see a raven-haired girl, with pale skin and soft, pretty features. She has cat-like eyes, but violet ones. What I see is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. It was also one of the most horrifying.

I look again and see the same girl, the same me, but she's screaming, telling me to run, to hide to get away from this place. I am more terrified than she, once I see the look of pure horror in her eyes, my eyes.

" It is not real! Nothing can hurt you!" she screeches

I was absolutely perplexed. Her eyes turn phosphorescent and then she was gone, more warnings caught in her throat, I was sure of that.

" Who was that?" I ask Daedran

" I know you're listening. Who. Was. That. I want to know now" I say fiercely

" She is you, the normal you, my you, Allora" Daedran's voice says

" why are you doing this? I am finished. Done. Just bring me pain, I cannot feel it through the numbness. Please end this, now" I say, all hope lost

" As you wish, but wouldn't you like to know how you got here?" he says

" What do you mean?"

" You came to this place of joy, you can go back. You came here somehow, you must want to know how" he says

" Tell me" I say

" You were dying, you had been suffering for a while without knowing it. You slipped into a coma in your sleep. You never woke up, and now you never will. Nothing is even real." he says

He had slipped up some invaluable information, I could tell by the look of a guilty child in his devilish features.

" It's not real?!" I say, astounded

" Of course it is, you filthy little brat. How could you imagine all of this?" Daedran scoffed, realizing his mistake.

" Maybe it is, and you are merely spouting from my disturbed mind." I say

I summon up all of my courage and say it,

" You are merely my imagination, aren't you? You do not exist, and neither does everything else"

Then I black out once more, and feel something engulf me, I don't know what. Joy? Triumph?
