Alice Pov
Ryuu left, leaving Kaname and I alone in the maze of roses. I didn't turn around to face Kaname, I was still mad at him for breaking the my beautiful rose.
"You didn't answer my question, who gave you that?".
"What part of mind your business do you not understand?!".
I started to walk away, when Kaname blocked my way.
"Get out my way".
Kaname kept his expression much calmer than before.
"I will, as soon as you answer my question"
I pushed Kaname.
"Why does it bother you so much?!".
The more I pushed Kaname, the more impossible it seemed to move him.
"Kaname! Move!".
"It bothers me a lot...because I....".
I looked up at Kaname with annoyance.
"Because you what?!".
Kaname looked away,"I don't know why".
I took this chance and pushed him.
"Well look at that, Lord Kaname doesn't know why".
I walked quickly back upstairs, no one noticing that I was gone.
"Alice".
"Yes?".
I turned around, to surprisingly see Zero in a suit.
"You look nice...Zero".
Zero just stared at me.
"I need to talk with you".
So I get no thank you?!
"I take my compliment back, what do you need to talk about?".
Zero grabbed my wrist and took me upstairs to the same room I was just in earlier.
"Remember when I got you mad that night...".
Zero shook his.
"What I'm trying to say is how did you make me stop breathing?".
I tilted my head,"What are you talking about Zero? I only remember you getting me mad, and Sam calling my name".
Sam....now that I think about it why was he there...at that specific time....
Zero's eyes widened,"You don't remember?".
I shook my head,"No i don't...and I was going to ask if...you could please call someone to pick me up".
"Why don't you call?".
"I forgot my phone".
"And why is this my problem".
I rolled my eyes and opened the door.
"Zero you are so rude. I even said please".
And once again I headed downstairs.
Now, who's phone can i borrow...
I squeezed through couples that were dancing. I looked around for someone. There were a lot of people I didn't know.
"Excuse me, miss?".
I turned around to see a man, with a plate of little sized sandwiches...or whatever they were.
"Would you like some?".
I smiled.
"Yes, please".
I took some and found a table to sit at.
It looks yummy!
I happily took a bite, and soon regretted it.
Its bland...
I sighed in disappointment. Im not in the mood anymore, to party.
"Im sorry".
I jumped, and put a hand on my ear. I looked at Kaname who had this "abandoned puppy" look on his face.
Oh great how can anyone be mad if they give you that puppy face
I sat up straight, fixing my hair.
"For what?".
Kaname sat down in chair with that look on his face.
"For making you upset".
I stared at the plate of uneaten food, and pushed the plate towards him.
"You want some? I didn't really enjoy them".
Kaname only stared at me...waiting.
I sighed,"Apology accepted".
"Alice...you look tired".
I just smiled. I felt my eyes burn of tiredness and having no food for energy was not good for me.
"Im fine, but can you take me to the restroom I don't know where it is".
He nodded his head and showed me.
I looked in the mirror, i did look tired. I turned on the faucet and splashed some water on my face.
Good thing my mascara is waterproof
Than I felt it, my throat was getting dry.
Please....not again
Its been happening more frequent, usually it would happen once every five months. I opened my eyes and I looked in the mirror...they were crimson.
I shut my eyes, the pain got even worse. I bit lip, the pain seemed even worse than before.
"Alice are you alright?".
"Yeah...Im...just...putting on my...makeup".
It was a horrible lie, I didnt even bring a purse to put my makeup on.
I walked out, the pain still strong.
"Kaname...my head is hurting a lot and well I want to go home now".
I sat in the limo, with my head on the window.
It hurts...
Kaname stayed behind, since he was needed there for some reason. The limo stopped, and the door opened. I thanked the driver, and opened the gates.
I went up to my room, and grabbed the tablets. I dumped the whole thing in my water and drank it. The blood tablets don't work on me, but i had nothing else.
After awhile the pain went away. I took a shower and put on my pj's. I was dead tired. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
I felt something stroke my cheek gently, and soon I felt something on my lips. I opened my eyes instantly, an iron taste filled my mouth.
Blood
I pushed them off of me, frantically trying to get off the bed.
"How did you like my blood Alice?".
I gasped for air. I never felt this way before...I was yearning for more...more of their blood.
I looked and saw the person coming closer to me. He smirked and kneeled down in front of me.
"Your lips...are so soft".
"Get away!".
I felt their breath on my neck.
"I don't want to".
I froze. I recognized this smell...but it couldn't be. He was my best friend. He wouldn't kiss me nor give me his blood...it couldn't be him.
My eyes watered.
"Do you want more of my blood Alice?".
I spoke in a whisper,"Sam?".
Tears rolled down my face.
