You saw as Daichi was being taken away to the medical office, the feeling of guilt was consuming your body as Kageyama checked if it was alright for you to play
"(Y/n) are you sure you are completely okay" he said emphasizing 'completely'
You just nod not even looking him in the eyes, the only thing that it was glued on was the door that their captain went through
"Oi look at me" Kageyama said while grabbing your chin to face him
"Are you su-" He was Immediately interrupted by the whistle indicating that the game will resume. You move your face from his grip and went to your spot to continue the game.
You watch as Ennoshita is subbed in, you always thought that he would be a great captain when the third years graduate and you fully trusted him. You walked over to him; who was already surrounded by the team asking him questions
"I'm sorry for what happened" you said to him, he clearly had a confused look on his face when you apologized
"Why would you be apologizing?" He asked
"During that either one of us could have been knocked out, and it had to be captain when it could be me" you said with guilt written all over your face
You watch as Ennoshita brings Kageyama over "(y/n) all of us and especially me are glad you aren't damn hurt" Kageyama said while holding your shoulders
You looked into his eyes then Ennoshita's, both of them had this look even if it didn't say anything you knew that they were telling you it was alright. You nod and go back to your place
'I have to make it up for everyone!' You thought are Ennoshita starts the first serve. Since Tanaka went with Daichi, coach told you to just play for the whole game.
The ball was easily received and sent back, landing a spike which gained a point. The captain serves but Ennoshita failed to receive it. And again the same thing happened, the ball was sent back and was heading straight for him but luckily he receives it and get the ball back in the air
Ennoshita to you was like a big brother, even though you thought that the whole team were like brothers you loved how you and him work together to scold the others. You remember back when you over heard the second years talking about who should be the next captain, Immediately you thought that Ennoshita would be a great captain.
Beck in the game, Asahi calls for the ball and spikes it through a double block. To your surprise a substitution was announced, you looked over and saw Yamaguchi will be going in for Tsukishima on the next serve. As they switch you over hear a Tsukishima telling Yamaguchi that he's too nervous.
After seeing this you watch as Ennoshita ask if he is nervous "I'm fine..." Yamaguchi said, judging by his expression you knew that he felt that Ennoshita was also feeling the same. You knew that it was Ennoshita's plan to make Yamaguchi feel better; and to what you can she it looks like he did lighten up a bit.

As a Yamaguchi serve's the ball was tossed too low and hits the top of the net, but luckily the ball falls over on the opposite side and lands before their opponents could reach the ball. We all cheer for him and now Karasuno is at set point.
As Yamaguchi serves you noticed that he didn't do a jump float serve; instead doing a regular standing serve. Wakutani is able to pick it up the serve, when you saw the attack you also saw that Yamaguchi was frozen in place. Wakutani attempts to spike but you immediately block him while getting a one touch. The ball heads right for Yamaguchi but he was unable to move.
Ennoshita instead jumps in and receives it. Kageyama sets to Asahi who successfully spikes through a double block and wins the set for Karasuno.
As the teams were switching sides, you noticed coach Ukai returning and he looked furious. He marches over to Yamaguchi but was stopped by Ennoshita and they started to talk but you couldn't hear what they were saying.
The team gathers around Ukai "how's Daichi doing?" You asked. Ukai explains that Daichi is alright and doesn't have signs of concussion although the bleeding and pain in his mouth is severe than they thought. You instantly feel guilty but Kageyama was there to quickly reassure you
You look at the scores and it was Karasuno at 18 while Wakutani is at 14. You feel determined to win this to make not only your team proud but for you to be proud.
