A new life is born

Rachel's P.O.V

Quinn is now officially 9 months pregnant and it's been the longest time coming.

Quinn is obviously nervous and is still living with us Noah comes around everyday.

We haven't heard anything off Finn either since he has left for college in fact I haven't spoken to anyone since we left school except Kitty, Quinn and Noah.

Kitty is still going strong and visits everyday we're getting really close and Quinn and her get along so well that we planned to go out after Quinn has the baby as dad and Noah agreed to look after the baby.

Jesse agreed not to send any visiting times until Quinn's had her baby but we still write to each other nearly everyday or as much as I can no one suspects anything.

I'm now at college which I'm still loving I'm really enjoying all my courses and I've made quite a few friends that are okay.

But right now I'm at work stocking up the shelves with chocolate and sugary treats sometimes I just want to cave in and eat the gummy bears I just finish stocking up as Cliff comes in.

Cliff: Rachel your friend Kitty rang Quinn's gone in to labour

Rachel: Crap

Cliff: Go I'll be fine

Rachel: Thank you so much

I untie my apron and I grab my bag Cliff holding it out to me and I race into my car and drive straight to the hospital where I park and rush to labour ward and see Noah.

Rachel: Noah how is she

Noah: You need to go in now room 5

Rachel: okay thank you

I rush in the room past my dad and Kitty and i see Quinn in the bed in the hospital gown connected to wires

Quinn:Rachel

Rachel: Hey

Quinn: It hurts so bad

I grab her hand and soothe her hair back

Rachel: It's okay

Quinn: Don't leave me

Rachel: Never, how far along is she?

Nurse: it's hard to say it could be a long wait I'm afraid

Quinn: Oh god

She squeezes my hand and flops her head back she looks in so much pain.

Hours later...

It's been 5 long hours everyone is still waiting outside Noah often comes in to soothe her when I need a break or when my hand needs a break.

Quinn: When does it end

Nurse: shall we see?

Quinn nods as the nurse checks everything over.

Nurse: Well I'd say you're ready

Finally I stand up and hold Quinn's hand as the doctors and nurses come in all prepped up ready 20 minutes later of me holding Quinn's hand soothing her she gives birth to a baby girl

Nurse: It's a girl

Placing her in a towel she cleans her up and hands her to a crying Quinn

Rachel: You did it you're a mummy Quinn

Quinn: She's so beautiful

Nurse: Do we have a name?

Quinn: Bethany Rachel Schuester

Nurse: It's a beautiful name

She carries Bethany to be weighed and checked over whilst they also cleaned Quinn up into some pyjamas she brought.

Nurse: Do you have any clothes to put little one in

Rachel: I hope you don't mind Quinn but I brought her a little something

Lifting up a gift bag as Quinn opens it and there's a Disney box and inside is a pink thumper rabbit baby gift set inside is a little vest and baby grow and a little thumper rabbit.

Quinn: It's beautiful

She hands it to the nurse as the nurse changes her into it and hands her back to Quinn.

Nurse: 12am 25th June

Rachel: Can I?

Quinn: Sure, Auntie Rach

I hold Bethany in my arms and I can't help but she's a few tears

Rachel: She's so beautiful, she looks so much like you

Quinn: She has Finn's nose

Rachel: She'll have your lovely long blonde curls, god I can imagine it now

Nurse: I think someone wants to keep her

Rachel: defiantly

Kitty: Hey mummy Quinn

Dad, Kitty and Noah walk in holding balloons

Quinn: Hey come in

Will: where's my grandchild

Rachel: here she is

I show them all Bethany

Rachel: Daddy Noah, you're not her actual dad but Noah you'll see so many important stuff, her first smile, her first time crawling, first time walking, her first word her first day at school Noah she's yours now

Noah also seems to be in tears as I hand Bethany to Noah

Noah: Bethany?

Quinn: Bethany

Noah kisses Quinn as we all hold Bethany, Beth for short and we all go home Kitty staying the night as Noah stays with Quinn and Beth for the night.
