Im back

Rachel P.O.V

Today is Jesse's release day i'm planning to meet him from the prison so we can grab some lunch.

I wake up at 10 ready to pick Jesse up at 12:30 I decide to shower and then change into skinny jeans and a grey top I wear my ankle boots and apply my make up and curl the ends of my hair.

I head downstairs to see dad already gone since he turned principle it's been so better at home everything seems complete Quinn and Noah have Beth dad is now the principle of a performing arts school and now well I don't know about me just yet.

At 11:30 I decide to leave for an hour journey and I grab my leather jacket and bag and leave to my car getting in i warm it up and start driving whilst listening to an album we all made whilst we was in glee club.

Once I arrive at the prison car park it's 12:29 one minute to go so I lock up my car and walk to the main gates chewing a mint nervously, suddenly the big gates open and Jesse is lead out by a big guard Jesse carrying his bag.

Jesse: Rachel

I hug him as the guard walks off

Rachel: You're free

Jesse: Finally

Rachel: You cut your hair

Jesse: I decided I needed a change

I touch the top of his curly hair that use to be near shoulder length which is now really short.

Rachel: It suits you, shall we we go for lunch

Jesse: Lunch sounds good

Rachel: Okay my car is just over here

I lead Jesse over to my car where he slings his bag in the boot and gets in the passenger side as I drive to a place that sells really good lunch and we head in and find a private table

Jesse: It feels so weird sitting somewhere that's not at a prison table and somewhere that sells great food

Rachel: Well you're out now you can be free

Jesse: As free as a bird

Rachel: If you want to be a bird

We decide to order and just sit and talk about the old things we use to do like the sweet shop

Jesse: They were the good times

Rachel: Yeah they were, what hotel are you staying at?

Jesse: it's this one

He shows me the name

Rachel: 10 minutes away from me

Jesse: Well I guess that's fate

Rachel: I guess it is

Wait are we flirting?

I never flirt

Rachel: So what are your plans now

Jesse: Go to New York maybe get a role on Broadway

Rachel: Sounds like a good plan

Jesse: I want you to come with me

Rachel: What?

Jesse: I think we should make this work again just me and you

Rachel: What about my family over here Quinn, Noah, Kitty, Beth my dad even

Jesse: You said your dad always wanted to try in New York again on Broadway well maybe this is what he needs as for Quinn and Noah they can join so can Kitty there are plenty of jobs out there

Rachel: I don't know Jesse

Jesse: I'll give you time I'm not in any rush to clear off I'll go whenever you're ready we should probably wait till I find a job here so I can save

Rachel: Okay I'll think about it

Jesse: Thank you

We carry on eating and I keep thinking about New York maybe this is what I want sign up to a real performing arts college appear on Broadway.

But what about my family and friends yeah sure dad has always wanted a shot at Broadway Quinn and Noah would love to go to New York or somewhere in America but Kitty I have no idea what she wants to do.

Once we are finished I take Jesse to his hotel and drive back home ready to tell my family the choices I've been given.
