after a few minutes of being stuck in the room and avoiding eye contact with alessio, you began pacing around. you couldn't talk to alessio, you just couldn't. you couldn't do it without wanting to bash his head in. you were fidgeting and pacing so much you were beginning to sweat. after a good 10 minutes of you pacing, fidgeting, and alessio staring at you he spoke.
"are you okay, you've been acting different lately?" alessio said softly.
you ignored him. it wasn't like you could speak anyways. you were too busy fidgeting. you didn't even know why your body was reacting this way. it was like your body was beginning to shut down, but very slowly.
"y/n? please answer me, are you okay?" he said even softer than the last time.
"no i'm not okay!" you finally shouted, and the fidgeting in your body suddenly stopped, "did you think i wouldn't hear your little conversation?" you shouted again.
"what are you-?" alessio began, but you cut him off."
'i mean look at her, y/n's never gonna find love.' 'i only kissed her to make her feel better about herself,' you quoted the words from last night, but suddenly very softly, you weren't shouting anymore.
alessio didn't say anything, he just came closer and pulled you into a hug. you didn't hug back, but just stood there.
"i didn't want people to know. my friends, my manager, and especially my fans," (okay if you don't understand this part it's okay it will be explained at the end of the chapter!) "with everything that happened with Gina, and the picture being leaked even though we broke up two years ago, I didn't want you to get hate like me and Gina did. my friends would've made fun of us because you're a little younger than me, and me manager wants me to stay single because he thinks if I don't my fan base will get angry and stop supporting," alessio whispered in your ear, still hugging you.
you were so tired you didn't say anything and just enjoyed the relief of those words, but you managed to hug back. and you guessed you fell asleep because you woke up in alessios arms on his bed.
