Ryan's P.O.V

I watched her walking away embarrassed her cheeks flaming red. I shouldn't have let her kiss me she'd probably blame it on herself. And how could I risk being so stupid I wasn't allowed to like her. But all I wanted to do is tell her that it would be all fine and that I didn't mind what she had just done. But I couldn't stuck there frozen on the spot as my body still tingled from her kiss. I watched her climb into her car and drive off as I stood there in the middle of the Oval. I looked down at the figures either side of me. The one I had killed and the one Kate had almost killed. She was powerful more than I had anticipated. What if there's still more like she has greater powers still waiting to be unleashed. But that wasn't my job that was Carlisle's job I was just the delivery boy.

“Blaze I need your help at the oval near the gymnastics academy” I said dialling blaze as fast as I could

“Be there in a few” she said and then hanging up. I gathered the men up and lay them on top of each other. I looked up when I could hear running two hundred or so miles away. Klaus was not going to be happy with tonight there were heads that were to roll. The running seemed to double as someone else joined in and then another. Suddenly three figures burst from the forest standing in front of me. Sophia standing in front of me her brown hair hung loosely behind her she folded her arms all to displeased. I stared back intently into her hazel eyes. I was surprised to see Riley smiling at me giving me a wink. I didn't understand but when I remembered his power I remembered that psychics could see the future and he must have saw Kate kissing me. I looked over to Blaze her eyes full of disappoint “I can't believe you told her!” Sophia said angrily at me

“She had a right to know what was happening to her” I snapped back

“Yeah and you jeopardise everything, Our lives is a big one, You kill one Zanator and Klaus gets angry but then you kill TWO!”

“Actually Kate did that one” I said pointing to the man with the disfigured face. Blaze's eyes widened and so did Riley's “What do you mean?” Sophia said puzzled

“Kate doesn't have one power she has many” I said throwing my hands in the air dramatically

“Blaze did you know she can make fire, Sophia did you know she can control people with her mind, telekinesis and who knows how many more that she has” I said

“But you know what you've now got to do?” Riley said. And that's when I remembered what Carlisle had told me and guilt began to set in. “Yep” I said quietly.

“What did you want me here for” Blaze asked after an awkward silence “I need you to get rid of the bodies” she knew at once. It was something she had to do a lot. She closed her eyes for a second her hand began to glow and then a ball of flame began to float in mid-air. She took one breath and then exhaled into the ball sending a large spray of fire cover the bodies and burning them to ashes. Blaze stopped once everything was gone. “Time to go home” Sophia said angrily “Um actually I need to do something..... I might not be back until school tomorrow” I said and I dashed up the road at lightning pace running.

I climbed into the dark window and waited for Kate to come home. I listened intently as I heard the car wheels turning down the street two hundred meters away. She pulled into the garage and through the front door “Hello” she said her voice echoing through the house. She walked upstairs and into her room switching the light on. She screeched when she saw me and I had no idea what to do so I ran over and hugged her tightly “It's just me Kate it's fine” I said holding her tightly. She relaxed into my hug and squeezed me back “Don't do that again just tell me your here” she said her voice a little shaky. She looked up at me her blue eyes wide with fright. I couldn’t help it this time it was natural. I lent over and kissed her red lips that were so fragile and tender under mine. Her lips parted and so did mine as the tingling sensation ran through my body coursing through my veins. I had to stop I pushed myself away “I'm sorry but I can't you have a boyfriend that's not me and I shouldn't have done that please forgive me” I said and she laughed to my surprise “It's fine I guess now were even?” she said

“If you want to put it that way” and then she smiled. I took a deep breath because it was absolutely breath taking. Her blue eyes sparkled and her face lit up and all I could do in response was blush and smile awkwardly.

“Well um I just came to check if you were alright so I guess I'll be going” And I turned to walk out the door and that's when her arms gripped around mine and she looked up at me in desperation “Will you stay please” she said her eyes beginning to fill with tears. I felt so bad for her that I agreed and she relaxed. She grabbed the trundle bed from under hers and some sheets and blankets and lay them out for me. “Um you don't mind if I sleep topless do you?” I asked just in case that made her feel bad. I watched her as she gulped “Uh.... no not at all” she said. I chose this shirt because it always clung to my shirt showing how muscular I was. I pulled the shirt up over my head and I could feel her gaze staring at me. I put the shirt next to the bed and I propped myself up on one elbow to face her bed “So um I hope you don't feel embarrassed to have to sleep here” she said to me looking guilty.

“Not at all” I said. I could sense her guilt was because she wanted me here for her own selfish reasons not because of how she was feeling. I said good night and lay back on the pillow and went off to sleep.
