~Chapter Twenty Six.~

~Sophies P.O.V~

What?!

He..

I...

I'm a bet?!

I can't believe this!

I knew something was going on. I'm not dumb.

"Soppie... Are you there?"

I jerk back to earth when I hear Gabe's voice. "Uh..Yeah." I say, still shaken up. "I'm still here."

"What a stupid, idiotic, a-"

"Who's down there?!" A loud voice interrupts Gabe's ranting.

"Uh-oh..."

I must've been too loud...

"Soph? What's wrong, Sophie?" Gabe asks me.

"I have to go.." I whisper and I hang up my phone.

The kitchen door flies open, revealing my Dad in his boxers, (Which scarred me for life) a bat in one hand, and a can of pepper spray in the other.

That's my Dad...

I raise my hands up into a surrender position. "Dad, it's me!"

He freezes with his mouth open, like he was about to yell something, (This actually looked hilarious..I had to bite my tongue to keep from laughing) then drops his bat.

"Sophie...What in the world are you doing in here?"

I gesture to the pizza and soda."I was hungry."

Dad smiles and chuckles quietly then leans against the door post. "You about gave your Mother a heart attack...She was about ready to call the police."

I roll my eyes.

Mom likes to overreact.

"What a stupid thing to do."

His smile grows. "Well, she can be stupid sometimes." He whispers. "Just don't tell her I said that."

I laugh. "I won't."

Dad and I have always gotten along, while Mom and I have always been at each others throat.

"Good." His eyes travel the kitchen and he sees the soda that I spit all over the fridge door and frowns. "What happened there?"
