They were almost to the bottom when I took off running. This caused them to skip the last few rungs and jump down the rest. We weren't that far from camp, maybe ten or so minutes.

I sprinted through the woods and back to my cabin. I could see the light from the campfire when I crashed into someone. It was Red. I got up started running again, yelling a quick sorry.

I reached my cabin with them not far behind. I had to bump a few people out of my way. I yanked the door open and slammed it shut. I could hear them laughing as I slid down the door.

I sat in front of the door for a few more minutes then I stood up and pushed the curtain to the window next to the door back.

They were gone.

I breathed a sigh of relief and laid in my bed. Closing my eyes, I kicked off my shoes and tried to get my breathing back to normal.

After a minute I was breathing normally again so I put on my pajamas, a t-shirt, and some joggers, and took my hair out of its regular ponytail.

Then I crawled into my bed and fell asleep.
