Only hearing this simple order, Su Nan couldn’t help but ask,’’That’s it?’’

To his response, Xu Ming replied with a nod.

Seeing this Su Nan was a bit sluggish. The current her looked to be full of confidence and powerful momentum so he was prepared to hear some grand schemes from her. However, after hearing this simple answer he couldn’t help but begin to doubt her ability.

If you were to compare their situation, she was even more pitiful than him.

Her mother died when she was young and her father favored his adopted daughter more than her. She also didn’t get to receive any inheritance because she was a girl so she had no choice but to rely on her husband.

Su Nan, He Xi, and Qiu Cao dumbly stared at the sleek black sports car driving away in high speed and quickly disappeared before their eyes.

On the other side, Xu Ming was driving on the highway with his left hand while his right hand tapped the phone screen for a few times then connected the call to the earplug.

After only one ring, the other person immediately picked up.

‘’Sister-in-law, how rare is it for you to call me?’’

Ignoring her excited voice, Xu Ming indifferently spoke,’’I will be back a bit late.’’

Xu Lin confusingly asked,’’Why?’’

‘’Personal affair.’’

After putting down these words, he instantly disconnected the call then proceeded to turn off the phone.

He was not wary of Xu Qin tracking him but it was already his habit of being cautious so it's better to be safe than sorry.

One and a half hour later, he arrived at a luxurious hotel.
