Clem's Pov🍊

Aj was still out of it, my arms were sore from carrying him all night through the forest, I was so tired, but it's almost day I see the sun rising again, I see a bridge, a tiny wooden one, god I wish there was another sign to tell me where the fuck I'm going.

*Couple of minutes later*

I see a building, not far, god I hope there's food, I can't keep going on like this and neither can aj.

I came up to this huge building, big walls and a secure looking gate, my arms were getting weaker as were my legs, I felt really hot and faint when all of a sudden I hear yelling.

Willy:MARLON, THERE IS SOMEONE AT THE GATE.
Marlon: WHAT?! I- HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE THERE, ARE THEY ARMED
Willy: JUST COME UP HERE.

*Marlon and Willy stood on the watch tower near the gate,weapons faced towards clem*

Marlon: Who are you? A-are you with them?
Willy:With who- what?!
Clem:I'm not with anybody.
Marlon:your carrying a kid, is he dead?
Clem:No he's not, Let me in

*Aasim came up to the watch tower with a bow, three of them facing weapons Clem's way*

Aasim:we can't trust her Marlon, she will take our food
Willy:he's right, she looks bit
Clem:For fuck sake, I'm not bit, let me the fuck i-

*Clem falls to the ground*

Marlon: fuck
Willy:I knew it.

Violets Pov💜

I heard Marlon, Willy and aasim arguing in the yard so I ran out, I saw Louis heading toward the watch tower to see what was going on aswell.

Violet:someone explain to me what the fuck is going on.
Louis:they're saying there's a person out there.
Aasim:Not a person anymore, she was bit her and the other kid.
Violet:other kid? What are they saying?
Marlon:nothing anymore, her and the boy look like they're already walkers

*Violet pushes open the gate and freezes for a second*

Violet:Clem? WHAT THE FUCK.
Willy:she was asking to come in but she couldve been bit so-
Violet:U DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IF SHE WAS BIT
Willy: well she fainted-
Violet: Lou, come help carry the kid.
Marlon:wha-

*Violet pushes passed marlon with Clem in her arms*
*Violet goes into her room and places Clem on her bed*

you said u would stay safe.. huh liar.

*Violet presses her hand against Clem's head, then presses her hand on hers*

Shit she has a fever, what the fuck do I do- why do I feel the need to care for her, what is this

*Vi takes her old shirt and soaks it in water, then places it on Clem's head*

1 hour later...

Clem's Pov 🍊

i woke up on a bed,last thing I remembered was when I was outside, shit I collapsed, this little boy was at my bed side but it wasn't aj, he looked a bit taller and had a scar across his face, I saw him leave, once I started to really wake up then I noticed that girl sitting at the end of the bed, staring at me as soon as she saw I noticed she got up.

Violet:you're awake
Clem:where am i- shit my head hurts
Violet:well.. you're inside a school uh in my bed, I mean nothing happe- .. SHIT I MEAN you just collapsed and I wanted to make sure you had something nice to lay on-
Clem: thanks.
Violet:...
Clem: god, you've saved me twice now, I don't even know your name.
Violet: it's violet.
Clem:well nice to meet you.
Violet:yeah.. you too
Clem:is Aj ok?
Violet:yeah uh he's awake
Clem:shit, he's probably so worried
Violet(whispers):.. he wasn't the only one who was worried.
Clem: huh?
Violet: uh- are you hungry?
Clem: yeah, very but I need to see aj
Violet: ill get him, don't get up just yet
Clem: oh thanks
Violet: yeah.

*Violet leaves room*

2 hours later...

I'm still really tired, I didn't know I would run in to her again but I'm glad I did, she seems really closed off but yet she still helped me, I went outside into the yard, vi already talked to the rest of the school about me, it was dark out, I just wanted fresh air when I spotted her.

Clem: "it's dangerous when it's dark"
Violet: "I know"
*We both laughed*
Clem:so what are you thinking about
Violet: shit.
Clem: I get u don't wanna tell me, sorry.
Violet: no I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come off as a self-centered asshole
Clem: what? Ur not self centered, you went out of you're way to save me twice
Violet: ..... So.. I'm still an asshole?
*Clem pushes vi and they laugh together*
Clem: listen.. I really appreciate you saving aj... And me
Violet: .. it's no problem, I couldn't have just let you died.
Clem: yeah..
Violet: uhh... want to go throw rocks at walkers?
Clem: I mean.. sounds pretty interesting
Violet: aha, you will laugh at they're reactions
