Why Can't It Be

In a world full of pain,

When I’m about to be insane,

A man came in space,

And all things became just in place.

Is just in place the right term,

When I cry and he’s concern?

When all I could do is to trust,

While my heart just creates rusts and cries.

We’ve been through it all.

You’re there to catch me, in the boat when I’m about to fall.

The kiss that renews everything,

That kiss that proves something.

Maybe, we won last time,

But how long can I call you mine?

Forever maybe permitted,

But holding you is just limited.

How could you leave so soon?

We’ve promised under the stars and the moon.

And now you’re promise are all gone,

Gone like it’s never been done.

Why can’t it be?

Don’t I deserve to be happy?

Why can’t it be?

Maybe, it’s not meant to be.

You’re my angel now.

And maybe this is perfect for us.

Meeting you in purpose,

But not holding you for long, I supposed.

Be safe, Johnny.

Be forever sweet as honey.

It caused us too much pain,

But it won’t stop me from loving you again.
