Beauty Behind Those Glasses

Love is really unexpected,

And falling for a girl is not what I intended.

I know this is just a plan,

But I turned out to be his man.

Nerd is what they called her,

And the look in their eyes made her colder.

I never really care about school,

Because falling in love with her is out of the rule.

I never thought that behind those glasses,

Are eyes that shine the brightest.

Her lips that move every time,

Are lips that I know are mine.

We never had a normal relationship.

It’s really complicated like a sinking ship.

All I really need is to protect her,

For us to build a brighter future.

We never stop trying and we even try harder.

We passed our love through these lovely letters.

But how long will you have to keep this,

That condition that made us not at ease.

All I want is a perfect life,

A perfect life I want when I was five.

I know this is impossible,

Because all I do is to get you in trouble.

You know what sucks?

Being away and not at your back.

How I wish it’s our turn to be happy,

Like a high school student who’s happy-go-lucky.
