If

If we’re still one,

Can you make my sadness gone?

Can those smiles stop the ache?

The ache that keeps me awake.

If you’re still here,

Can I still call you ‘dear’?

Can we make those moments perfect?

But to you, this will have no effect.

If time permits,

Will the sky be the only one to limit?

And if distance exists,

What else will be the hindrance to this?

Regrets may be my greatest fear,

But knowing you will never be a part of it.

If I could only go back to the past,

I will make what’s ours to last.
