"My name is Jung Hoseok." He said

I tried not to gasp.

I looked down at my bracelet shaking.

Then I looked at his wrist.

'Jung Y/n'

I held in my tears the best I could.

I raised my hand impatiently, my hand still shaking.

"Yes?" She asked.

"May I go to the bathroom?" I asked.

"Of course. Why are you shaking—" I ran out of the classroom before I could answer.

I quickly went inside the girls bathroom and fell to the floor.

How?

Why?

When?

All these unanswered questions raced in my mind at once.

I can't believe it.

My brother is here.

I smiled to myself and felt tears pouring out of my eyes.

Except this time they weren't tears of pain.

They were tears of happiness.

He still has the bracelet.

I wonder if they still fit together?

I traced the rough edge of the metal.

A tears had fallen on it so I wiped it off.

I better get back to class.

I went to the mirror and wiped my eyes and made sure my eyes weren't puffy from crying so much.

After I went back to the classroom.

"Everyone get out your notes and textbooks and turn to page 37." The teacher said.

I sighed and walked to my seat.

I look back and see that Hoseok had made himself comfortable next to the populars.

Great.

This just made it a lot more difficult to talk to him by himself.

***

The bell had rang and everyone left but I waited until Hoseok got up.

I didn't care anymore he was my brother and I hadn't seen him in 19 years.

I ran to him and hugged him.

"Hobi." I said as I looked in his eyes.

"Y-y/n?" He asked.

He looked down at my wrist and saw the bracelet.

He held my hand up and interlocked the bracelets.

They fit.

He looked at me and smiled.

"It's been so long!" He yelled happily.

"Guys... Could you give us time alone?" Hoseok asked the other teenagers staring at us.

They walked away in silence so we starting talking to each other again.

"How has it been with mom?" He asked.

"Well... Mom and Dad... And it's been pretty... bad. I'm not livening with them anymore. They kicked me out because they hated me." I said showing him the bruises and scars they left.

"And you know how Grandma said I would forget so she only took you?" I asked.

"Yeah..."

"I remembered."

He looked infuriated.

"How could she?!" He yelled.

"And who are you staying with?" He asked.

"A kid named Jungkook." I decided not to tell him he was my bully so he wouldn't get mad.

"Well at least you're staying somewhere. But I'm going to have you stay with me and Grandma." He said.

"Thank you." I said.

I was worried what he would think when he saw my lack of clothes.

I was in for a treat tonight I guess.

***

School felt like the longest day ever.

I walked out and waited for Jungkook.

When he came out he walked over to me.

"Hey I gave Hoseok your address so he can come pick me up tonight." I said.

"Okay that's fine." Jungkook said but he sounded sad.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing." He looked down.

"Okay..."

We walked the rest of the way home in silence.

As we were walking I realized something.

Hoseok is the same age as me.

Wouldn't my grandma think he wouldn't remember either?

So why did she just take him?

My eyes widened and I looked at Jungkook.

He was crying?

"Jungkook why are you crying?" I ask with concern.

"Okay don't think I'm weird but I don't want you to leave." He said with tears in his eyes.

"Why?"

"Because I'll be so lonely." He said.

Poor boy he's been so lonely all these years and then I lived with him and got his hopes up and now I'm leaving to.

He'll probably forget about me.

"I'm sorry but Hoseok will make me live with him anyways. Even if I say no." I say not making him feel any better.

"I know." He said still crying.

I felt bad for him.

We got inside and I just brought my suitcase down since that's all I had.

***

The hours had gone by and I heard a knock at the door.

I opened it and Hoseok was there to pick me up.

I grabbed my suitcase and told Jungkook bye then left.

The car ride home was pretty quiet.

My grandma looked so different.

She had more gray hair and was a little shorter.

Probably her back made her shorter.

When we got to the house everyone walked inside.

It was a really small house.

Smaller than Jungkooks but it was okay.

At least it had three bedrooms.

Hoseok showed me to my room and I set my stuff down.

The bed was made.

That's good.

I hung up my clothes in the closet then sat on the bed.

It was harder than Jungkooks but it was okay.

I had only been in Jungkook's house one day but it felt like it was my home more than here.

That's weird.

Sorry I know this was a boring and a *cough cough* short chapter but ya gurl wrote three chapters in a day so you can't blame her.
