She spews words at her victim
She spits violence, anger, and hatred through every word.
Every letter
Every utterance is an insult.
And her victim is defenseless.
No one will help her. She has no alliances.
No self esteem.
She has no willingness to fight back.
She is powerless.
She can only cry hot, fearful tears towards her bully, who will intern say that she deserves to feel like that.
The bully gains her power, so she thinks
But there is nothing to gain.
Because as the tormented weeps, she does too.
As the victim contemplates life or death
As she straddles that thin line
The bully does too.
And after she's done beating that pretty girl down,
She stands up and wipes her own tears
She says she's sorry.
But the victim won't believe that.
And so the victim is stuck with that in her head forever.
And the bully is too.
She'll always be stuck with such an ending.
Because in the mirror
She is the victim
She is the bully
