Cuddling, hugging and even laying with Alycia is something your treasure when you are apart. You take it for granted when you are together.

You love it when she lays her head on your shoulder when your sitting next to each other, when she sits on your lap, her head on your chest.

Even when she is asleep, or falling asleep, she would cuddle up to you, or sit next to you holding your hand and with her head on your shoulder. Depends where she is.

What you miss is when she is away. Months without her at a time. It was tough. She would call or FaceTime you, rarely just a text, telling you how much she misses you and would love to just hold your hand. Anything.

That's what was the worst, you took holding her and physical contact for granted when she was with you but the day she left is when you need it the most. When she returns from her work, that's when you again need it but get the love. Not that you don't have the love when you are apart, it's just not physical.

You promise each time to treasure the moments you're together but all you do is live for them in the moment. Hoping there won't be another time where you miss them.
