Keira's pov
Monday, great. Just another day full of taunting and and bullying. I got out of bed hating my life and dreading the school day ahead. But then i decided, im not going to let him bother me anymore. I am going to completely change myself. I hopped in the shower and washed my hair. After that i got out and yanked my school uniform on. I dried my hair and dug out my blue hair extensions that i got one christmas for my 12th birthday party. Hmmm how did i remember that?. Dismissing the thought i clipped them in and got to my make up. I gave myself a smokey eye effect and applied black lipstick. i grabbed my black leather jacket and put it on i then painted my nails black and let them dry. i put on my electric blue converse and headed out of the door. it was 9:00, im already late. as if the new keira cares. i grabbed my bag which had silver skulls and crosses on it and off i went into the forest to get to school.
I was 10 minutes late. Oh well. I sauntered Into my tutors room in the middle of him talking.
"Ahh keira your 10 minutes late" said Mr Jeffries
"And... Your point is" I replied
"Why are you late" he said raising his voice
"Right I straight up slept in I knew I was going to be late but that didn't stop me from pressing the snooze button 12 because I didn't want to deal with your nonscence" I wasnt lying
"Well you know where that gets you....lunchtime detention"
"Aw piss of" I retorted suddenly the class was filled with gasps
"And not only will I see you this lunchtime but that is also an after school" he said
I shrugged my shoulders and sat down. I caught rhydian looking at me. I ignored him and carried on doing nothing.
Skip to lunch*
I stood in line to get my food. It was spag bowl day. Yay. It was my turn to get the food and it was piled high with spaghetti. I went to try and find a seat when all of a sudden behind me I hear a
"Oi bitch" and suprise surprise it was Jimmy. For gods sake.
"What" I said turning round
"You think you can walk in here looking like a slut and think that you own the place"
"Uh how am I doing that" I said narrowing my eyes. Jimmy was silent.
"Exactly" I said turning away
"What did you just say" said jimmy walking towards me. Right that's it. I picked up my plate and ditched the tray, leaving it to smash onto the floor, I turned round and my food made contact with Jimmy's face. All of a sudden a bunch of people started going 'ohhh' which left Mr thinking 'really... Was that screaming really nessesary'
Jimmy grabbed my neck and lifted me up being the right height I was able to knee him in the stomach making him double over in pain as he let go of me. I ran out of the hall as Jimmy's friends chased after me. I saw rhydian talking to his friends and I knew I had no one else to ask so I just ran up to him
"Hide me" I ordered
"Uh no way" snapped rhydian
"And why not" I asked
"Because oh and by the way look behind you"
Jimmy was behind me.
"Now you listen here bitch" he said grabbing me by the throat and slamming me into the lockers. I caught rhydian wincing
"If you ever do anything like that again, I'll kill you"
I spat in his face, he went full rage mode on me. He threw me onto the floor and stamped on my belly, winding me. He then picked me up and he got his friends to hold me, he repeatedly started punching me in the face and in the stomach. My face was broken and bloody and I couldn't breathe. How could rhydian let this happen? I thought he cared about me. Wait...why would I think that?
"JIMMY STOP IT NOW" roared Mr Jeffries and jimmies friends let me go, I collapsed on the floor and I felt a pair of strong yet soft hands pick me up off of the floor. It was rhydian, I was too tired to protest as he took me to the nurses office
Rhydians POV*
I didn't want to stand here and watch Maddy get beaten up. I angrily walked up to them when tom held me back
"Tom what are you doing" I said raising my voice
"Were not supposed to get involved" said Shannon. I suddenly felt guilty, I should've given her a place to hide
I was glad when Mr Jefferies got involved, I picked her up and took her to the nurses office.
"Oh dear" said the nurse and she let us in her room. Maddy had passed out. My heart felt a pang of love for her. I'm in love with her in every way possible. The nurse cleaned up the blood on Maddy's face but the cuts leaked out fresh blood whenever they were cleaned.
"Right bring me the smelling salts on the table over there" said the nurse.
I picked them up and gave them to the nurse, she held the salts under her nose and almost instantly Maddy woke up coughing
"Argh that's rank get it out of my face" she moaned
"Right Maddy" said the nurse "I'm going to have to put some alcohol on the cuts okay is that okay with you"
"Uh yeah" she said and the nurse went to go and get the alcohol. Maddy avoided eye contact with me.
"Are you okay" I asked concerned
"No" she said bluntly
"I'm sorry" I mumbled and tried to grab her hand
"What are you doing" Maddy snapped "were not going out, I dont love you, so stop grabbing my hand" she said smacking it away
Ouch.
That's when the nurse came in with the alcohol she put a bit on the cotton and then placed it on Maddy's nose, she hissed in pain
"Sorry I know it stings but think of it as good pain" said the nurse and she pressed more onto her nose
After she cleaned her up the nurse called Maddy's parents to pick her up and I got sent back to lessons
I need to talk to Maddy's parents
