Maddy's pov
I opened my eyes. It was morning. Again. I heard someone softly snoring next to me, and thats also when i realised he had his arms wrapped round waist, i checked myself. Phew, still fully clothed. Rhydian was sleeping next to me. Suddenly mum came in
"You alright pet" she said smiling. I looked at rhydian and back, expecting her to kick off
"Youre okay.....with this" i guestured to a still sleeping rhydian
"Pet...we havent been exactly staright with you...or Rhydian" she said as dad walked in
"What do you mean" i said furrowing my eyebrows
"Get Rhydian up and come downstairs" said dad and soon my parents left the room
"Psst psst rhydian" i whispered shaking him "psst rhydian get up"
"What" he said sleepily
"Me parents want to speak to us" i said "get up" and i pushed him off the bed he started growling sleepily but he then looked at me with humorus eyes. I smiled at him and bounced off of the bed only to immediately fall back down again because of my ankle, it was a bit weak.
"You okay" asked Rhydian
"Just...peachy" i replied and got up slowly. I hobbled out of the room and down the stairs with Ryhdian following shortly behind me. My parents were sitting on the couch with a serious look on their faces. I sat on the sofa and Rhydian stood near the t.v.
"Listen Maddy i want you to tell us exactly what happened to you last night we tried sending texts and calling you and you never replied then Rhydian says he found you unconscious in the forest lying in a ditch and drowning in your own blood" she said worriedly
"I never said you were drowning in your own blood" reassured Rhydian
"But she puked it up yes?" Asked mum
"Well..kinda yeah bu-" he started but mum cut him off
"Exactly just Maddy please tell us what happened because you were out there possibly dying and bear in mind its a full moon tomorrow so.." Mum began
"Woah hold the horses" i started "whats a full moon got to do with me nearly dying and why are you calling me Maddy I'm Keira helloooo I'm supposed to be your daughter and you cant even remember my name?" i asked confused. Then Rhydian shot me a glance saying 'really Maddy you know what were talking about' and when i gave him a look back which read 'i have no idea what you're on about' he looked at my parents wide eyed
"What" i said getting angry
"I-it doesn't matter its nothing" said mum quickly
"O..k well what happened was that i was running in the woods when i tripped and fell down a hill, a rocky hill and i guess i sort of fell......unconscience" i said shrugging i couldn't tell my parents what jimmy did, they'd go ape-shit. Ryhdian gave a snort of disbelief that only i could catch and i shot him a death glare.
"Is that all" asked dad looking backwards and forwards at me and Rhydian
" yess.." I started "well I'm gonna go take a shower" i said and started running up the stairs
Rhydians pov
As soon as Maddy left to go take a shower i turned to Maddy's parents
"okay whats going on" i asked emma and Daniel
"Its none of your business" snapped mrs smith " you can just go home Rhydian its none of your business" she said looking sad and thats when i snapped
"What?! No i am not ever letting my sights of Maddy again shes not been the same. First of all she rocks into school claiming she's Keira smith and that she doesn't know me or Shannon or even tom i am part of this pack and Maddy is my alpha and i love her to death......i would die for her so don't you even dare tell me that its none of my business" man that felt good to get of my chest.
'We should tell him emma" said mr smith
"I know but do we really want him to know......everything as in everything everything" she said worriedly
"He has a right apparently" he said repositioning himself on the couch and after a long......long moment mrs smith finally agreed
"Right so a month after we left, it was mating season in janas pack and so she had to get a boyfriend and the youngest man in the pack was 20" oh my god i can see where this is going
"Well" mrs smith carried on "she....got depressed and after weeks and weeks of the man trying to mate with her, he hit her....hard they were on top of a cliff in the frozen north when it happened and when she crashed on the floor she fell of the edge taking a big chunk of ice with her" my breathing started to get heavy
"She smashed into the sea and the big chunk of ice fell on her head...we fished her out and took her away from the pack, jana understood and punished the male by banishment. When she woke up she remembered nothing so we gave her a new name and here we are" he said a tear rolling down her cheek
"She dosent remember what she is" i asked
"No...well not until the next full moon" said mr smith
"Yeah but thats tomorrow" i stated
"No a full moon is tomorrow her transformation isn't until two days away remember its the second full moon not the first" mrs smith corrected
"Right so whats gonna happen until then" i asked
" well every transformation must bring back fragments of memory but she just wont know it until......well her brain decides to remember" she said " weve just gotta be patient"
"Okay thank you for telling me" i said
"Its okay but please dont try to jog it, if itll happen itll happen we just want to leave it just in case itll lose her memory forever" i nodded and they let me go. I ran up the stairs to hear the shower going and to hear maddy singing in it. I must say shes very good. I knocked on her bedroom door just in case and when there was no answer i just went in and found my jacket on the floor. I collapsed onto maddys bed and closed my eyes. Her scent sent my heart into a frenzy, i didnt even notice the shower stopping.
Maddys pov
I heard Rhydian go into my room so i decided to get changed in the bathroom. After putting my clothes on, i headed back into my room
"Woah" said rhydian hiding his face in the pillow
"Dont worry im not naked" i reaasured him and got my shoes on he came to sit next to me
"Where you going" he asked
"To meet someone" i replied
"Who" he asked
"None of your business" i said getting a bit snappy
"Right" said Rhydian slowly
"Yeah.....right" i said "now get out of my room dont you have your own house to go to" i asked
"Yeah" he said moodily
"Well then, ill talk to you later......goodbye rhydian" and i pushed him out of my room
I sat on the bed and held my breath until i heard the door slam. I then gave a growl and layed back on the bed and closing my eyes.
I couldn't stand the way he was making me feel any longer
