"'Ow's it going with that girl, Jas?" Jack asked as they approached the checkout at Tesco.

"I thought you'd flip your shit when you learned about Alice," Jasper admitted and started unloading their groceries.

"Ella exaggerates. What can ye do?"

Jasper smiled and looked down at his phone, which just vibrated in his pocket. A kik message from Alice. He remembered how she literally suggested oral from him and grinned at Jack as he put it away and took out his wallet.

"Things are going perfectly well."

Jack grinned and clapped his friend on the back. "Tha's great to hear," he said, and smiled. "Ye need someone in yer life. Someone 'o won't end up like Ella."

That made Jasper feel strange inside.
