"Yes pumpkin?"
"What are we doing?"
"Pumpkin, we are going to say bye."
"But I don't want to say bye."
"Neither do I." I said taking Camilles hand and walked with her to Roxanne's grave. After Roxanne had died, I had adopted Camille. I needed a part of Roxy in my life. It felt right to have Camille as my daughter. And as Roxanne had asked me to I told Camille every night that, Mommy loves her.
Narrartors POV
After Roxanne died Zak's life changed forever. Zak had adopted Camille and raised her to be a beautiful woman. Every Sunday night he visited Roxanne's grave because it was the day she died. The suicide note Roxanne had left, Zak kept in his night stand and every night he would read it before he went to bed.
When Camille had turned 15 Zak read her the suicide note and explained to her everything Roxanne had been through. Even though Zak told her every night "Mommy loves her." He had never told her who her mom was until he had read her the note. Camille had broken down into tears after she found out she had spent almost 2 years with her mom.
Zak had never loved another woman ever again. Now he lies in his coffin right beside Roxanne.
