(AN- 23 fans! thanks soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much guys! I know it probably doesn't seem alot to some people but I'm just really happy some people like my story! )

Alicia couldn't get over how giddy she felt. The date had only confirmed her suspicions; she definitely liked more than just the way his body looked, and was pretty sure that feeling was mutual. After convincing the still shaking waiter to accept an 80% tip out of guilt for scaring him, the pair decided to go for a walk by the lake. Lu and Sax were long gone, and while Ali didn't particularly want to think about what the man who was like her brother was doing to her other friend, she couldn't be happier for them all the same. They stayed at the edge of the lake for over an hour, sitting, talking, and sneaking kisses, before they finally reluctantly agreed to go back to Shane's car. Neither of them wanted to move, but neither of them wanted to be on Jay's bad side either; especially not Shane, he valued his life. Jason had taught Ali how to fight, but Kurt taught Jason; if he pissed them both off, Shane was sure he'd have to kiss his ability to breathe goodbye. He'd just have to resist pulling over to the side of the road to defile his car for the time being; something that was getting harder and harder to do.

Ali couldn't figure out what was happening to her; the whole evening she'd been acting girlier than she ever had before; giggling, eyelash batting, hand holding, the works. She wasn't anxious about someone else driving her either, which confused her even more. She wanted to blame it on the outfit, Lucy's personality rubbing off on her, or maybe both. She knew full well that wasn't the case, but would she admit that? Absolutely not. She was broken out of her thoughts with a start by a hand waving in front of her face, scowling at Shay as he laughed at her shocked face.
"Sorry pretty girl, I didn't mean to scare you. You gonna stay out of dreamland now though?"  She pretended to think about it.
"Hmm, I don't know. Do I have a good reason too?" Ali retorted teasingly. Shane groaned a quiet "fuck it" as he pulled the car over to the side of the road, grabbing her face with both hands and kissing her the moment he was free of his seatbelt. Shane had never been more impressed with his own self control than when he pried himself off of the beautiful woman in his passenger seat after only a few minutes, coaxing her hands out from under his shirt.
"I guess that's one reason" Ali eventually muttered, still dazed. He grinned as he pulled the car back onto the road, placing a distracting hand on Alicia's thigh.
"Glad I changed your mind."

The pair's moods dropped a little when the security guard let them onto the driveway, but not as much as it did when Shane pulled closer to the house.
"Ali, Jason and Kurt are looking through the curtains at us" He muttered, making Alicia's head snapped up. Sure enough, dumb and dumber were looking through the curtains. What Shane didn't notice though, was that on the floor above Sax and Lu were looking too.Great, they had an audience.
"Ignore them, if you park behind that tree then Jay, Kurt, Sax and Lu can't see us" Ali whispered to him, almost scared Jay or Kurt would hear. Even though, biologically, only one of them was her brother,  they both took on the protective big brother role. Alicia used to find it sweet, but now it just pissed her off.
"Sax and Lucy are here too?" she nodded "Figures" He muttered, snickering quietly as he put the car in park. His nerves shot up as he looked at Ali, but he didn't want to back down now.
"Ali, I had a really good time tonight. Risking your brother and surrogate brother murdering me in my sleep, I was wondering if you'd like to do it again sometime?" He asked, hopefully sounding less nervous than he felt. Alicia grinned.
"I'd love to, but I have one condition" She replied teasingly, causing Shane to look at her with suspicion.
"And what is the condition?"
"I don't care what we call it, but I don't want either of us to date other people. Got it?" Ali stated. Shane was surprised; he'd stopped himself being that forward, thinking it would be too soon, and she'd beaten him to it. Ali looked at him strangely when he laughed.
"In that case, I have a condition of my own, because I do care what we call it. I know it's probably a bit soon but Ali, will you be my girlfriend?". In lieu of a reply, she moved herself across the console to kiss him, not able to stop smiling.
"I think that answers your question" He grinned back. "I better go now. I don't want Jay and Kurt to kill you before they even meet you."  Shane's response was to pout in a way that Alicia couldn't help but find adorable, and she paused.
"You know what? They can wait 10 minutes"
