Promises are made and broken
Feelings are left hurt
and hearts split apart
Always and forever doesn't mean forever
Fairytales aren't real and never will be
There's no such thing as 'happily ever after'
Sorry will never replace the hurt and damage that has been done
and can't fix everything
Goodbye means forever
And in the end tears and a broken heart are the results of someone's promise that was never kept
