I watch as you walk away and a tear rolls down my cheek
I never planned on you leaving
You say this the best for the both of us, but I don't see how that is
I think of all the memories;
All the times you held me in your arms, whispered "I love you" in the darkness
The feel of your lips on mine
But that was back when we were happy
Before all the arguing started
All those terrible things we used to scream at each other
All the times you made me cry myself to sleep
So maybe, you walking away is good; we were never meant to be together
We were just a mistake from the beginning
Something that was never never meant to be.
