He broke my heart
and left me to pick up the broken pieces
He moved on while I was dying inside
What happened to all his promises?
I never thought I would love again
All the guys that came into my life meant nothing after him
They couldn't fix my broken heart
and couldn't take my darkness away
And then, he came
He broke down all my walls
Fixed my broken heart
And took away my darkness
He continues to make me smile everyday
We may fight, but we make up quickly
He takes my breath away, just like the first day
What we have is special
and I never want it to end
I truely believe we can get through anything
and I can do anything with him by my side
