GuQingPei was a bit surprised because YuanYang really seemed to put his heart in it. The phone call he made lasted more than forty minutes.

It is always good to have a little more hope. If YuanYang really could make something out of himself, perhaps YuanLiJiang will take this brat back earlier.

GuQingPei had other things to deal with. He had just talked to ZhaoYuan on the phone and she invited him out for a meal. After YuanYang was done with his call, GuQingPei had already changed into a dashing beige casual wear outfit and was planning on heading out.

"Where are you going?" YuanYang asked.

"Meeting up with someone."

YuanYang creased his brows, "I can't even wear my clothes yet, how could I go out?"

"You don't need to drive me," GuQingPei responded, "Just stay here. I'll bring you clothes when I come back."

YuanYang stopped him and asked, "Who are you going to see?" GuQingPei is a person that pays great attention to business etiquette. As long as he's meeting people for work related matters, he will most definitely dress impeccably in a suit. Ever since he met GuQingPei till now, there hasn't been many times that he's seen GuQingPei dressed in casual wear. Moreover, GuQingPei didn't even use gel to style his hair; it's just casually loose. His entire person looked a few years younger, as though he's going... on a date.

And he's also refusing to let him go...

YuanYang is a bit annoyed, "I'm going with you."

"What are you going for? This is my own personal matters," GuQingPei sprayed some cologne and checked himself in the mirror.

He didn't intentionally want to appear appealing in front of ZhaoYuan. But to look triumphant and well-contented in front of an ex is a natural attitude that can't be avoided.

But in YuanYang's eyes, GuQingPei is obviously meeting his lover privately.

YuanYang blatantly asked, "Are you going on a date?"

GuQingPei sneered, not feeling at all obligated to respond. He adjusted his clothes, turned and walked out.

YuanYang got in front of him, looking at him condescendingly, "I'm going too, otherwise don't even think about getting out this door." He must go and see who GuQingPei is secretly meeting with.

GuQingPei slightly furrowed his brows, "Can you be a bit mature?"

YuanYang snorted, "Stop pestering me, I need to go. Besides, you should be coming back for dinner tonight, I've already bought everything."

GuQingPei responded, "Whether or not I come back depends on the situation."

"So I must go. You want to leave me home alone? Dream on!"

GuQingPei said helplessly, "If you want to go, then go. But don't mess around." He grabbed his car keys.

"Wait a minute, what about my clothes?"

GuQingPei glanced at the t-shirt and shorts that YuanYang is wearing and lightly smiled, "Buy it along the way."

It's already freezing Winter, even though it is warm inside the home, the chilling wind blew in all directions within that short distance that it took them to go down to the parking lot.

GuQingPei's pant is already short on YuanYang and the jacket barely covered him. YuanYang just wore this t-shirt and knee high shorts with GuQingPei's jacket draped over his shoulders as he followed him down.

Although it was a short distance, YuanYang was chilled to the bones, his body uncontrollably shivered.

In the elevator, they met a couple who had come out to walk their dog. They looked in astonishment at YuanYang for leaving the house in the chilling winter wearing shorts.
