Why You Won't Always Get What You Want on Wattpad

Getting a story to be voted on cam be very, very hard. I've seen books that have not that great grammar and have several thousand votes. Some people also write these 'porn' stories that

A. Simply don't belong on Wattpad

B. Have horrible grammar

C. Somehow get over ten likes. I mean, c'mon people.

So what is it that gets someone to vote on a story?

I have a story that has 53 views and no votes. (I did unusual it though so you won't be able to find out.) This story has (last time I checked) 104 views and 18 votes.

My theory for those two books is that this book is probably more relatable to you. This is about the struggle of building your Wattpad empire!

My other book is just a poor little Sister Location fanfic.

But I also think there's something else. I was reading a fan fiction. The grammar wasn't great, but it had a ton of likes. And—sentimental warning—I knew why. It was because I could literally feel the author's good intentions. This may sound sappy and unbelievable, but something about how to book was written made me think of someone happy.

Or maybe it was just because there were so many hugs.

Anyways, that's my idea about this. You can have your own theories, you can write your own books about this stuff too.

It's actually pretty fun!
