Chapter 4; Ready

Chapter 4;

The rest of the week went by smoothly. No one suspected a thing.

It was the day Zayn said he was introducing me as his mate. Since what happened that day, we hadn't really talked, just a couple of smiles, and 'Hi's' here and there. He didn't tell me if he still was saying I was his mate.

'Knock' there was a knock on my door.

"Come in" I called. The door swung open.

"Ellis, can we talk?" It was Zayn. It sounded urgent.

"What's up? Shut my door please" I replied.

Zayn walked up to my door and swung it shut, then sat down on my bed, making it dip.

"My dad was talking about me taking over as Alpha. The only time I can be Alpha is on a Full Moon, which it in 3 days. By then he said I have to take responsibility as Alpha... But he said by then I have to have a mate, and if I didn't find her, he would pick a suitable mate, who is strong enough to take the position as Alpha Female" I didn't realize I was frowning until then.

"Oh" was all I could say.

"What shall we do? I need an Alpha Female by Friday" Zayn whispered.

I swallowed the big lump in my throat. I didn't want anyone going near Zayn. He was mated to me, he was mine!

Wait- What am I saying?

"I-I don't know" I breathed. I looked up into Zayn's forgiving eyes.

"I think this is the time. Ellis we have no time left, to hide US! I will not have a random bitch as my mate, Ellis please, be my Alpha Female, I promise, no I swear. I will ALWAYS stick by your side, I won't make you do anything you want to. But... I need what's right for my pack. I am taking responsibility as Alpha. Now will you join me?" I knew he was being 100% truthful.

"Zayn... I-" I sighed. "You what?" He replied gazing into my eyes.

I hugged him. He responded by returning the hug, holding me tight. Would he keep me safe? 'Of couse he's our mate!' My wolf shouted at me. Would he ever let me go? 'Look at the way he's holding us now Ellis! He would never let us go!' She spoke again. I sighed.

"I-I think I can do this" I whispered. Zayn's eyes widened in shock and then put a hand on each side of my face, kissing me gently.

The kiss was long and demanding, sending shivers down my spine. Our lips moving in sync. I slowly wrapped my arms around his neck, bringing him closer. His hands went from my face, down to my waist, closing the tiniest amount of space between us, so they was no space at all. Zayn nibbled on my bottom lip, asking for entrance, I hesitated, and carried on kissing him. With a growl, his left hand went down to my butt, squeezing it tight. I gasped, taking the opportunity, Zayn slipped his tongue into my mouth. He tasted like spear mint, and vanilla. We fought for dominance, which of course he won. Then massaging my tongue with his, I moaned at the back of my throat, making Zayn moan louder.

Slowly pulling away, I took a deep breath and swallowed.

"Wow" he breathed. I bit my lip, looking down.

A hand lifted my chin, I looked into Zayn's eyes.

'His eyes are beautiful' I thought.

"Yes, but I wouldn't use the word 'beautiful' with you standing here in comparison" Zayn chuckled.

I blushed.

"You sure you want to do this Ellis? 3 days, if you don't want to, I'll tell my dad, I don't want a mate, because no one, can replace you, beautiful" I blushed again, breathing in and out before saying.

"I'm ready. I cant hide it for long. I'm not sure if I can do this, but I'll give it a shot"

He smiled. "You'll be perfect Ellis. In 3 days I'll introduce you as Alpha Female, and before then my dad needs to know who my mate is"

I slowly nodded. "When shall we tell him?"

"Anytime you want, just before day 3" He replied.

"Now?" I asked.

He blinked. "Are you sure your ready?"

"As I'll ever be, so I suggest you hurry before I don't want to" I laughed.

He held out his hand, that I gladly took. Walking together towards his dad's study.

'Knock knock' Zayn tapped.

"Who is it?" Alpha John asked.

"Zayn, I have something to tell you" Zayn replied.

"Enter" He boomed.
