NICKI'S P.O.V
As Im driving to meet Ray I start praying and hoping everything goes ok. If hes changed then we can start a family and maybe renew our vows but if he hasnt, Then I dont know what Im gonna do
" Your late" Ray says as I walk through the door
" Well Im sorry it was a long day"
" A long day with your friend, you know I dont want you having any friends" he says
" Im your WIFE AND I DESERVE TO HAVE SOME FREEDOM"
" LOWER YOUR VOICE AND DONT YOU DARE YELL AT ME" he says slamming the table
I shake and move back when he hits the table. I can tell hes getting angry quick
" From now on you stay at home when Im in work like always" he says
" No Im not doing this again I hate being home by myself with nothing to do" I say as I try to hold back my tears
" If you want our marriage to go well then you will do as I say" he says
" Our marriage isnt going well anyways"
" What did you just say?" he asks
" I said Our marriage isnt going well anyways"
" And whos fault is that?" he asks
I really want to say its him but I know what could happen. I stand still and say nothing
" Well I know its not my fault so then its obviously YOURS" He says
" It aint my fault ITS YOURS. Your abusive, you hit me all the time, your too protective, YOUR A LIAR AND A DECEIVER"
" How dare you talk to me like that" he says getting up and coming towards me
I waste no time and start running. I hear him coming after me and that makes me run faster. I get my keys outta my pocket and get them ready. I get to the door and open it quick. I open my car and close the door. I start my car but it doesnt go. I keep trying and trying but it doesnt work. My heart starts beating faster when I see Ray coming
" Nika get out of the car" he yells
Tears fall down my face as I get out. I walk slowly over to him
" Im sorry" I whisper through my tears
" Its ok" he says hugging me " I shouldnt have said what I said"
This is like the first time we have hugged since the day we married
" Go get dressed Imma take you out for dinner" he says kissing my head
Then it hits me. Im no ordinary person anymore, Im famous and what if I get caught?
