I can't deal with pregnant women anymore. She acting like she carrying triplets. I grab her lunch and bring it to her
" Thanks Safaree. I hope the laundry is done, oh and last time I was downstairs the living room needed to be dusted "
" Last time you were downstairs was 2 months ago " I snap leaving her to eat alone
I'm really starting to rethink this whole relationship with me and Valia, maybe one night was just okay for both of us
NICKI'S P.O.V
I finish setting the table and making dinner for Ray. Since me and Safaree aren't talking I don't really have anywhere to be except home. As I hear Ray coming in I start placing the food on the table. He comes into the dining room reading a newspaper
" Let me take your things " I say reaching for his briefcase
" No " He says plainly still reading the newspaper
" Do you want to eat now or take a shower first " I ask him
He ignores me and continues to read
" Lets eat " He finally says taking a seat
" So, hows Safaree " He asks
I stop dishing the salad and look at him not knowing what to say
" Surely he must be fine " He says taking a sip of his drink " Since the fact that you are carrying his baby, Ms Nicki Minaj or should I say Onika Samuels " He bangs his glass so hard on the table that a crack forms on the glass
I literally freeze wishing I was dead at this point. Even though I am not pregnant Ray will believe what he wants to believe
" Those rumors are not true " I say
" It says so here " He says throwing the newspaper he was reading over at me
I glance at the headline and straight back to Ray
" Read at it " He says quietly
I pretend to read it then turn back to face him
" When did this happen " He asks making his way towards me
" I'm telling you Ray its not true " I cry backing up against the wall
" You've been lying to me pretending you've been doing nothing thinking I would never find out who you really are, Nicki Minaj queen of rap " He says while gripping unto my shirt tight
" Maybe not by you but I'm appreciated for I do "
" Good for nothing bitch " He says slamming my head against the wall
" I never loved you Ray and never will " I try fighting his grip on me
" I don't care if you love me or not " He says lessening his grip on my shirt to go to my neck " I thought we could make this work but I was wrong "
" We were never meant to be Ray, we're not fit for each other " I cry " I loved you before you changed"
" Then leave " His whispers letting go of me
" What " I ask
" Onika just leave, we're done "
I pack my things quickly before he changes his mind. I get in my car about to leave wondering if Ray is gonna say goodbye or not. I get out and go back inside to say goodbye
" Ray " I call
I sigh out of fright seeing him standing on top of the stairs
" I know we can't make this work but I want nothing to stand between us, no grudges. Let's just be friends " I say
" Onika I told you to leave " He says
" I'm about to "
" I SAID LEAVE SO WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE " He says raising his voice so I know something is going on cause he would have laid his hands on me by now
" Ray what's going on " I ask showing him I'm not leaving
" Onika all this time I thought I loved you but I didn't. I hurt you took my anger out on you cause there was no more love in our relationship. So you need you to leave cause I don't want Mimi seeing your still here when she gets here "
" Whos Mimi " I ask even though I know the answer
" Your replacement. Goodbye Onika " He chuckles
I wipe my eyes with my sleeves, either I'm crying out of happiness or sadness, I can't really tell. I've been dreaming of this day forever but now it's here I don't know what to do
