NICKI'S P.O.V
Today is Monday and Ray works Monday to Friday While I stay at home doing nothing. The only thing I can do is clean but why should I clean 5 days in a row I mean I dont have any kids and the house is never untidy. Ray doesnt allow me to talk to anybody except family but he has to be around when Im with them. Also he bolts the door and locks the windows. Stupid I know and he so over protected. But tonight Imma try ask him to change
"Im home" Ray says
"Im in the kitchen" I say
"Is dinner ready Im so hungry" Ray says
"Its chicken curry" I say putting our food on the table
" Woah the table looks really shiny today" Ray says
"Doesnt it always" I say looking upset
" Well I only noticed it now" Ray says
" Thats what I mean Im tired of staying at home doing nothing I feel depressed why cant I go out or have friends over" I yell
"Hey Hey No yelling in my house" Ray says " You know that Im trying to protect you.....
"From what theres nothing to protect me from" I yell
" Im trying to keep you safe" Ray says getting up
" I said from what theres nothing dangerous here" I say
"What do you know" Ray says
" You grew up her in Cali and I grew up in Queens where it is not safe and even my mother let me go out" I yell
"The next time you yell Imma show you whos in charge in this house" Ray says
" Then Im leaving" I say
"Fine tomorrow you can go out and do something and treat yourself if it will make you happy" Ray says
"Really" I says smiling
"Whatever will make you happy" Ray says giving Nika a hug

I wake up to a sound of a drilling noise. I walk downstairs and Ray is drilling something like a bell to the wall.
"What are you doing" I say
" Since Im allowing you to go out today I want you home by 3 no more and to make sure your really home I gotta ring this ok" Ray says testing the bell
"Thats the most stupidest thing ever" I say walking back upstairs
'Nika I can just easily change my mind and keep you home" Ray says
I just keep walking upstairs while Ray shouts for me to come back down. Im sick and tired of him treating me like this.
"Can you not hear me" Ray says turning Nika around to face him
"Im not deaf" I say
"Learn to respect me Onika" Ray says slapping Nika across the face "This is why I dont let you go out"

I drove the car outta the drive way and headed to the mall. I havent done this in years. The first thing on my list was to get a tv. At least I would have something to do while Ray was at work.
I walked into the Tv store and looked around. My eye caught a 90 inch smart tv and I bought it straight away. I took the elevator downstairs to get some groceries. I was pushing the trolley down the drink aisle when a guy stopped me.
"Onika is that you" ? says
"Sorry do I know you" I say looking confused
"Its me Safaree" Says Safaree
"Safaree Samuels" I say
" Yeah we were In highschool together you were the girl who really wanted to become a rapper" Safaree says
"Well that didnt happen unfortunately" I say
"I can help I now work at recording studies you can come record anytime you like for free" Safaree says
"You would really do that" I say
"Everybody deserves to live their dreams just call me whenever your free" Safaree says
"Ok thanks" I say walking away
Is this really happening. But oh yeah Im married to Ray and he would never let me.

I called a tv guy (Or whatever you call them) to come and hang up the tv. I just told him that the old tv broke cause he was looking at funny when he noticed there wasnt a tv in the house. And in case your wondering I did have to ring the bell at 3 cause of course Ray would never forget to call.
"Nika Im home" Ray says
"Im in the front room" I call out to him
"Nika can I talk to you outside" Ray says
'What" I say
"Who the fuck is he and whats he doing in my house and who bought that massive tv" Ray says
"I bought the tv and hes just helping me fix it up" I say
"Hey Im done my job" Says the guy
"Alright Im coming" I say leaving Ray
I pay the guy the money and lead him out the door. And then go back to Ray.
"Dont act like you dont know that your not allowed to bring any one inside my house without my consent" Ray yells
"You said I could go out today and treat myself so I did but I needed help with something" I yall back
"You didnt even ask to bring in a tv" Ray says while slapping Nika across the face "How dare you ever try something like this again in fact dont you ever step foot outside this house again if you do Imma show you whos in charge around here"
"I HATE YOU" I scream at him
"Who do you think you are" Ray says pushes Nika on the floor. "The next time you say anything I dont like I'll hurt you so bad"
