-Aubrey-
"Bye Aubrey!" Anna called to me. Ah, human friends... I walked to my sister's car. I'll admit, it's hot. A gray convertible that fits five people... I hopped into the passenger seat and waited for my sister.        She was a senior. She was captain of the cheer leading team. She was little Ms. Perfect. She had also found her mate, Mr. Perfect. He was captain of the football team. What a coincidence... Ugh. I have, yet, to find my mate. But then again, I'm only fifteen. You can tell who your mate is when you turn fifteen. Layla and Josh had been dating since middle school. When Josh turned fifteen, they found out they were mates and were so excited. Now, they're eighteen. I want that...I hear a squeal and look over to find my sister, Layla, being picked up and carried by Josh, her mate. No one could deny they werexperfect for each other. They reached the car and Layla kissed Josh," I'll see you at the pack house!" He grinned and walked off. She started the car and turned on music. The pack house is where the whole pack lives. It's a lot like a hotel. We're a fairly small pack, ( The Kelewood pack ) and our pack house has eight floors. I have my very own room on floor five. Ha. Almost everyone else has a roommate...We arrived home and I grabbed my book bag, running into the house. "Hey Momma!" I exclaimed and kissed her on the cheek, quickly turning to catch the elevator. I got to my room and smiled, jumping on the bed. I then, followed my daily routine. I turned on the radio to my favorite station and pulled out my homework, getting it over with. Ugh. Calculus is crap, biology is gross, social studies is boring as hell, and language arts isn't great either. At least I'm in chorus and orchestra! I sing and play the violin! It also gets me out of gym. Yes! "I threw a wish in a well, don't ask me I'll never tell..." Ooh! That's my song! I put my hair in a bun on top of my head, and stand up on the bed. I grab my hairbrush and use it as a microphone," Hey, I just met you! And this is crazy but here's my number, so call me maybe!!!" I start dancing and drop the hairbrush. Dancing is my passion. I am head of the dance squad. Yup, my sister does cheer; I do dance. The song ends and I hear my cellphone ring. Ironically my ringtone is Call me maybe... Haha. "Hello?" I ask. "Hey, Aubrey, this is Jenna." "Hi Alpha Jen," I greet the alpha female. She is super nice."Can you come to my office, hon?" "Sure thing!" I say and hang up, heading to floor six. I get on the elevator and see the alpha's son, Max. "Hey buddy!" I say, rubbing his hair. He and I are really good friends. He's two years older than me and really tall... So it's hard to ruffle his hair. I always have to stand on my tip-toes. It's kind of our little joke. "Hey Aubrey!" he says, smiling," I think you shrunk." My eyes widen. Oh, he did not just say that. "Nah-uh! You're just some humongous being!" I snap. He laughs," And you're a dwarf." "Shut up." Most people would be afraid to talk to their soon-to-be alpha. Not me! He was like my older brother. "Bye giant," I comment, getting out of the elevator. "Bye sis," he sighs. See, he calls me sis! I am like his little sister... I'm just... Not.... "Bye brother from another mother. See you at dinner," I say, skipping towards his Mom's office. I knock. "Come in." "Hey Alpha Jen!" "Hi there, Aubrey. Can you have a seat please?" She asks with a smile. I sit in front of her desk. "It seems we're going to be having some new pack members. A man called, saying him and his family would like to join out pack. So, one of them is a fifteen year old girl named Macy, and she's going to be your new roommate," Alpha Jenna explains. "Okay, cool. When will they be here??" "Tonight, after dinner," she says. "Alright thank you Alpha Jen," I say skipping out of the room. I head back my room and get ready for dinner. I reapply my make-up and take my hair out of it's bun, letting it curl. Why couldn't I look like Layla? She has blonde straight hair, blue eyes, and pretty feet. I know, I just said pretty feet. Ever since I was three we've been having this debate on feet. Apparently her feet are more beautiful than mine... Whatever that means. I have brown curly hair, green eyes, and according to Layla my feet are ugly. Wow, thanks Layla. I skip down to dinner and sit in the middle of Max and my friend, Libby. "Hey bro," I say with wide eyes looking at Max. He chuckles," Hey sista." I giggle. I turn to Libby," Hey Libs!" She grins," Hey Aubrey!" We're both very energetic... "Eat up," Our alpha, Nathan, says. We all nod and devour our food. During dinner, Libby and I have the oddest conversation. "I'm scared," she giggles. I raise my eyebrows. "You know Bobby?" she asks. "That nerd kid?" I ask. She nods," He told me there was a hunter at Lanewood. That's only a few miles away from here!" "Calm down. We're werewolves. Hunters are only human," I say. She shakes her head," I know." She winces," But still..." I finish my meal on a different topic. Max starts telling me about some video game. "Like I care!" I exclaim. He flicks my head. "The truth hurts Maxy." I say. He squints his eyes at me. He hates when I call him Maxy. He always whined," It sounds like a girl's name." "I know," I smirked.   "Night," I say, after eating. I hug Libby and Max, kiss my mom and Dad, and wave to Layla and Josh. Oh, my family.. I walk to the elevator and see a girl getting on. She has light brown hair and beautiful blue eyes. She looks new. Oh! "Hi, I'm Aubrey!" I chirped," You must be Macy." She smiled and nods," Yeah, are you my roommate?" "Yup," I grin. She seemed super nice. I led her to our room and opened the door. After getting her bags down she frowned. Hmm... "I have more bags," she told me. "I'll help get them. Where are they?" "My car," She smiled,  " Thanks." "No problem, Macy!" We went to the parking lot," My family'll all be at the car." I nodded. We walked up to an SUV. Nice... I see her parents and smile. "Hey, mom, this is my roommate, Aubrey," She introduced me. I grinned," Nice to meet you." "You too!" they said, kindly. Wow, this place smelled so good... I don't know why but... A guy stepped around from the other side of the car. And then my world stopped. It was like everything froze... Time was non-existent. Somehow, I knew, that he was meant for me. It was like God sent down one of his angels and here it stood. Here stood the most glorious man ever made. Here stood the most perfect image in the entire world.   I felt like I was the luckiest person ever. I, and only I, was allowed to call this majestic being my mate. He was mine. I liked... No, actually, I love the way that sounds. He's mine. He is mine, and heaven forbid anyone tell me otherwise. He was incredible, with dark brown hair that was cut short, and bright blue eyes. He wore shorts and a tight-fitting T-shirt that gave way to his abs. I heard a cough and looked around. Where am I? Oh, right... Crap. I'm outside the pack house. The cough came from Macy who was looking between this guy and I. "This is my brother, Trent," she said quietly. I looked at their parents and saw their mom grinning wildly and looking super happy. Their dad smiled and started leading their mom away... Inside of the pack house. "They need privacy.." I heard him mumble. Macy looked between us again," Um.. I'll be right back... I have to... Um... Err.. Use the restroom. My eyes widened. She was leaving me alone with her brother... My mate. As soon as she was out of sight, Trent walked closer to me. "I'm Trent..." "Aubrey," I said, though it was barely audible. He stepped forward again," Your fifteen, like my sister?" he asked. I nodded," What about you?" "Seventeen," he spoke slowly. "Oh..." He was two years older than me!    He looked like he was debating something. "I..." he mumbled," It's... I.." he seemed to be trying to figure out how to word something. Then he stepped forward, closing the gap between us, and grabbed the back of my head. And then his lips touched mine. Sparks exploded and I couldn't help myself... I moaned, I felt him smile against my lips. I slipped my fingers into his hair, messing it up most-likely. I felt his hands wrap around my waist. Oh my gosh. No one could understand how right this felt. The kiss was slow, yet passionate. We broke for air and he leaned his fore-head against mine. "Sorry. I couldn't help myself," he whispered. I blushed and I looked at the ground. "It's okay..." I then muttered," I really didn't mind." He grinned," You didn't?" he asked. He heard me?? Oh... Werewolf hearing. I blushed again and he smiled," You're so cute when you blush." That, of course, only made me flush a deeper red. "I don't blush," I lied. He chuckled," Yeah right." I blushed again.     "So you're my sister's roommate, huh?" he asked. I nodded," Yup." "You're beautiful," he grinned at me. I blushed and blinked my eyes. "Well, you're not too bad looking yourself," I giggle shyly. He smiled and gently pressed his lips to mine. The sparks went off again. I was completely shocked. I just met Trent... I guess it's this mate thing. I mean I'm so attracted to him. I pressed my lips into his and made the kiss go from gentle to... Not so gentle. He growled and moved his hands into my hair. I did the same as him. Oh lord, this was heaven on Earth. The kiss ended to soon and I couldn't help but frown. He smirked, making me blush... Again. "Um, so I think I really like the fact that you're my mate," he whispered. I smiled. " Me too," I admitted. "So, whatever you want," he said, closing his eyes. "Huh?" I asked, confused. He opened his eyes," I want to be your mate," he stated. You couldn't wipe the grin off my face if you tried. "I want to be your mate too." He grinned. He was smiling like a fool. "I have to get these bags," he sighed, leaning away. "I can help," I offered, feeling loss as he pulled away. I shivered and he quickly pulled off his jacket," Are you cold?" I shook my head, but he put the jacket around me anyway. "Thanks," I smiled. He nodded," I've got the bags." He picked up three bags and grabbed my hand, sending sparks up my hand; through my arm.        We walked to the front door, fingers entwined and I smiled nervously. What would my parents think about me finding my mate? What about my sister?? And my friends??? Oh well... Only time will tell.  As soon as we walked into the door I felt a pair of eyes on me. I looked around to see Libby eying me and then she winked. I looked around for Layla and she and Josh were gone. My parents weren't here either. "What floor are you on?" Trent asked. "Five," I responded. "What room?" he asked. "505," I answered. He smiled and hit floor five. We stepped off the elevator and he walked me to my room. "Here you are," he murmured. I nodded and he pecked my lips. "Goodnight," he said with a smile. "Night," I said, grinning. He walked away and my fingers brushed across my lip, where his had just been...

-Macy-

I sit in the passenger seat of the car with my feet up on the dashboard. I smile as I look at the light blue converse on my tapping feet. I have my headphones in and I am really in the zone. "But you didn't have to cut me out! Make it like it never happened and that we were nothin'. I don't even need your love but you treat me like a stranger and that feels so rough," I suddenly blurt out. I slightly blush as I realize how awkward it must have seemed to the others in the car. I glance over at my driving mom and smiles, then turn my head back so that I can see my dad and brother, Trent. We finally arrive. In front of us was a beautiful white house. I get out of the car and grab my bag, looking up at the building. It's huge! There has to be at least five floors. I walk inside and get in the elevator. I see a very pretty girl, around my age. "Hi, I'm Aubrey!" she says, introducing herself. "You must be Macy." I smile and nod, "Yeah, are you my roommate?" I ask curiously. "Yup," she grins. Aubrey is really nice and we chat a bit on the way to our room. Once I unload the bag that I brought in, I glance around. Our room is great! "I have more bags," I say, about to get up to get them. "I'll help get them. Where are they?" Aubrey asks. "In my car. Thanks," I reply. "No problem, Macy!" When we get back to my car, I pick up the rest of my bags and smile at Aubrey. There's a cough, and Trent comes out from behind our car. He and Aubrey's gazes lock, and they just stare at each other. I cough awkwardly, "This is my brother, Trent." My parents begin smiling and my dad mumbles, "They need privacy." I giggle and look oer to Aubrey, "Um.. I'll be right back... I have to... Um... Err.. Use the restroom." I quickly walk inside and press the button for the elevator. I'm not looking when it arrives, and I run strait in to a boy. "Oh, I'm sorry!" I apologize quickly. "No problem. I'm Max, are you new?" he asks. "Yeah, I just got here. I'm Macy. It's really nice to meet you." He gets out of the elevator, still staring at me stupidly. I laugh when the doors close. I think I'll like this place.
