I was woken by the blazing sunlight that had been let in by a split in the curtain. My eyes slowly adjusted to the light.I tried to recall what had happened the night before and the events began to slowly come back. I had gone to the 'Drunken Skunk', which was the local bar, with my three friends Isabella, Michael, and Catarina. Isabella worked at the local diner with Catarina, while Michael was doing just
doing jobs that would only last a month or two.

I had only just moved back from university and had received my degree in engineering, and last night was my friend's way of saying 'welcome
back'.

I rubbed my eyes, wanting to figure out weather I had managed to fall asleep on one of my friend's couches or was actually able to get back to my apartment. I checked my surroundings and looked at what I had woken up on.

My eyes were still adjusting to the light, when I realised I had actually managed to fall asleep in my bed. It was only double sized bed, and the springs were munted inside the mattress. But it was only round about eighty-seven dollars.

I checked my phone to see what the time was, it had only just turned seven-thirty in the morning. I took off my woollen blanket and went straight to my cupboard where I picked up my regular attire, which was
just a plain white shirt, a pair of black jeans, some blue and orange high top shoes which I also got for a bargain, and my watch which was silver with a black face.

Once I had all that I slowly paced myself over to the front door then grabbed my keys off the little oak wood table which I had placed by the door. I swung open the door and locked up my apartment. I slowly
walked down the stairs, still slightly hung-over.

I pulled my phone from my pocket as I began to walk down the stairs, then dialled my friend Michael's number. The phone buzzed in my hand which made it tingle. The buzzing stopped and I heard a very tired and droopy sounding.

"Hello?"
"Hey, it's Isaac."
"Oh really, I didn't notice" he said sarcastically with a laugh.
"Haha very funny Mr. Sarcasm" I said mockingly. I stopped at the end of the stairs.
"Hey, have you been watching the news this morning?" Michael asked, applying a more serious voice.
"No. Why's that?" I asked, intrigued.
"There's a giant craze about some virus over in the Pacific's that's been spreading everywhere." Michael explained.

"And some of the news channels have been emergency broadcasting on most channels. It must be getting pretty bad." Michael keep going. I paused for a second, taking it all in.
"I wouldn't worry about it, it'll clear up soon." I answered back,
unsure what to make of Michael's concern.

"Yeah, you're probably right. I shouldn't really be worrying about it that much. Anyway can you come by my place and pick me up." He asked.
"Sure, I'll be there in about ten minutes."
"Ok, sweet. See you then."
"Bye" I said before ending the call.

I pulled open the door to the main entrance to the apartments, then
headed out to the garages, where I found my beautiful Chevy dodge
charger, which I had saved up for since I wanted to become an
engineer.

I was only nine when I had decided what I wanted to be. I can remember
having my life goal set and just dreaming about building and repairing
things. Now I have a degree for engineering and I've pretty much paid
of my student loan, the dream has almost become true. I had been
saving for this car ever since I was nine. Not that I knew what I was
going to use the money for, but I knew I had to save-up for something
for when I was older, and I had.

The charger was yellow with a black stripe down the middle, some
sixteen inch alloy rims mad grey tinted windows. I had been looking
for cheap cars on the net and stumbled across it while browsing. I
placed a bid on it for thirty six grand, but got it for forty seven.
