"Who is that?" I asked, looking around the dark room.

Then I saw a small red dot of light appear for a couple seconds, then go away.

I felt around the door for a light switch. I found one and the room lit up. I saw a boy about my age sitting in the corner smoking.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Leondre. My friends call me Leo." He said.

He lifted the blunt up to his mouth and I watched him inhale.

He was wearing black and white adidas sneakers, black jeans and a black and white sweatshirt. His hair was somewhat long and some of it was up in a short, messy ponytail.

"What about you?" He asked.

"Um.. I'm y/n..." I said nervously. To be honest, he was kind of intimidating.

"So why are you in here?" He asked again.

"Uh.. I was running away from my teacher..."

He chuckled.

"Why the hell were you running from your teacher?"

"I was skipping and she caught me," I said.

"Oh."

I tried, once again, to get the door open, but it was still locked.

"Havin' trouble there?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Push the doorknob when you turn it."
I did what he said and the door opened right up. I blushed. He let out a small chuckle.

"Wait... why are you in here?" I asked, closing the door again.

"Skipping."

"Oh... do you do that a lot?" I asked.

"Everyday."

"Doesn't your teacher look for you?"

"Nah. Bitch probably took me off her attendance sheet by now," he said.

He squished the blunt, rapped it in a piece of towel and tossed it into the garbage can.

"Where'd you get that?" I asked.

"Why? You want one?" He asked with a smirk.

"No thank you, I'll pass," I smirked back.

"Oh, so you're a good girl?"

"Well I wouldn't say that..."

"Mhmm."

I gave him a look and raised one eyebrow. He smirked again.

The bell finally rang. School was over.

We waited for footsteps and turned the lights off. We slid out the door and followed all the freshmen out to the buses.
Leo followed me out to the parking lot.

"I'll see you tomorrow," he smiled, unlocking his car.

I playfully rolled my eyes and got into my car.
