Tragedy
My mother is saying that we cannot afford tickets to the Monkees' concert and it's too far to drive. I think she's just bluffing and trying to make me believe I'm not going, like she does sometimes, but it scares me to think that she's not. I mean, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I might miss out on it! That upsets me greatly. The Monkees are amazing! I want to see Mike play live at a concert for the first time in 15 years and see Micky's tribute to Davy. It's a state of ignominy for her to even say that I can't go! ):
