Chapter 5 Wanting

(Andrea's POV)

When I woke up, I turned to my left to see both my mate and my brother, sleeping to the right of me

They both looked so peaceful and comfortable in each others arms. I looked around, trying to find a clock to tell me what time it was. That's when my eyes landed on a small clock across the room

It was 3 in the morning

Slowly and quietly, I got out of the bed and walked towards what I thought was the bathroom

I looked into the mirror and shifted my head to the right

I was so uncomfortable. My whole body ached and was sore beyond belief 

Tiptoeing over to a cabinet, I opened it and got out an over sized T-shirt

Slowly and quietly, I walked over to the bathroom and hopped in the shower. I had nothing of mine, so I just had to use the shampoo that was in the shower already

It smelled nice, it smelled like Crixus

He smelled of freshly fallen rain and mint

My favorite

I quickly shaved my legs with the razor that was already in the shower and unused.

Once I was done, I hopped out drying my body

I put on the over sized T-shirt, walking out of the bathroom and back to the bedroom, I was sleeping in

I slowly slipped my head in and saw, Crixus, with his arms wrapped around Andrew's waist. Andrew's head rested on top of Crixus' chest, soft snores, leaving their mouths 

A smile creeped onto my face, making me feel warm inside

My brother had always been my best friend...he had to be, I never had anyone else

I loved my brother, but I was never in love with him. That hadn't changed and wouldn't change. Andrew had always protected me, ever since we were kids. He had looked after me. That's why it was so nice, to see him take a break from worrying about me and just being happy

Once again I looked at the clock and realized that another hour had passed

I closed the door and walked away

It was completely dark and all I could see were the stairs bellow me

Finally, I got to the last stair and blindly walked over to what I thought was the kitchen

I opened the fridge and took in all the fruits, vegetables, and meats in front f me got and opted out for a simple apple

I walked out towards the door and opened it, sitting out on the porch

The moon outside was still up and the stars above me, were shinning so brightly and beautifully

I didn't like it, I didn't want this, I didn't want to find my mate, I didn't want him to be caring, I didn't want to be happy

Why?

Because it's all going to be taken from me, my mate is going to hate me when he finds out about my past, he is going to be disgusted, and everything is going to go to hell.  I didn't want this, because I was going to have to leave

How was I going to look into his eyes and smile, when I had never been allowed to smile, without being hurt

None of this is going to end well

I knew it and I was sure my brother knew it too

Time flew by, the sun was coming up and the wind was getting a bit heavier

I went inside and walked towards the kitchen

I made some eggs, waffles, mixed up some fruit, that I had found in the fridge, and cooked some sausage

Once I was done, I fixed up the table and sat down, in the living room, waiting for my brother and Crixus to wake up
