Ivory's POV
We pulled up to my drive way
" So what are you planning on wearing ? " Isabelle asked while we got out of her car
" Clothes ? what else lingerie ? " I said sarcastically
" That's a good idea ! He will love that " she winked at me
" Ugh no !" I opened my front door
" Good afternoon ms Ivory , how was school ? " My butler asked me
" Good thank you " I smiled and walked up the staircase
" By the way , flowers got sent to you , there in your room , don't worry there not roses " he told me
" Me? ok thanks " I said confused
" They are probably from Collin " Isabelle said
" Yeah probably , any other guy would've gotten me roses "
We walked into the room and the beautiful bright sunflowers were noticeable
" Wow ! " Isabelle said
" Ok wow , there super cute ! " I squealed
" But doesn't Collin send you orchids and tulips ? "
" Yes, those are my fav , who will these might be from ?" I asked confused
I grabbed the card
" Read it out aloud ! " Isabelle said excitedly

" Whatever " I said placing the card in the trash, nobody needs to know about who send them
" Ok now we pick the oufit !!!! " She said and ran towards my closet
We looked and looked until she found the ' perfect ' outfit
" Are you sure ?" I asked
" Yes!"
We redid my hair and reapplied my make up in 20mins , it was now 4:50pm
I put on my outfit which was a dress. It was short ,went up to half of my thighs, it was a off the shoulder, solid color ; aqua blue , and the shoes were gold wedges
" You look hot ! " Isabelle said
" I don't want him to think I'm trying to hard, this is just a one night thing " I told her
" You don't , and ok but I bet he will continue on bothering you " she said to me
I checked my Michael Kors hand watched
" Shit it's 5:10 ! "
" Ok how are you going to get out of here ?" she asked me
" Can you stay up here ? I'll leave through the secret entrance , and I'll text you to come open the door for me , and lock my door ! they will think I'm sleeping " I said giving her intrusions
It was easy to leave because everyone was preparing dinner
I walked towards the back of my house that lead to another road and I saw a car, there was also a man standing by it looking the other way . I guess he heard my steps because he turned and looked my way. There he was the handsome Xavier Campbell
" Hi " I said
" Hello , wow Ivory you look beautiful " he said grabbing my fingertips and twirling me
" Thank you " I said
He pulled me and gave me a hug, I just stood there with my hands to my side
" What ? Don't you know how to hug your date ? " He whispered in my ear, which send down shivers
" Yes but you're not my date "
" I'll show you, you put your arms around my neck like this " he told me putting my arms around his neck
I didn't say anything , we stood in that positions for a while
" Ok we should go now " I said pushing him away
He walked with me and opened my door, I nodded and gave him a small thanks
" That dress brings out your eyes and hair color " he broke the silence and looked at me
" Thanks " I said simply
" Ivory, please loosen up , I promise I won't try anything , unless you want me too " he winked at me
We stood silence
Once we got to the restaurant , it was just as I expected , a fancy one but it was out of the city , on a mountain hill . We got out of the car
" This seems like a nice place " I said more to myself
" I hope it is, I never been here " he said chuckling. I walked in front of him
When we entered the host asked us our names , but as soon as her eyes landing on Xavier she couldn't stop but blushing
" Xavier Campbell "
" Ok sir , right this was " we walked with her and Xavier kept glaring at every guy who dared to look my way, I just rolled my eyes.
" You know , I think it's best if we just have our dates somewhere more private, I dislike the attention you're getting right now " He said stopping me and pushing me against him as he whispered in my ear
" Sir " the host said
He let me go but kept me by his side , we got to our table and I went speechless ! It was in a balcony right in front of the perfect view of NYC !
" Wow this is beautiful "
" Yes you are " he told me and I couldn't help but blush
" I hope you have a wonderful dinner Mr Campbell " the host said not even paying attention to me
" We will " I spoke up and she looked my way and walked away . I heard Xavier laughing
" What ?" I said to him annoyed
" You just got jealous " he said with a smirk
" Perhaps , but as you said , his is a date, and no other person can flirt with you " I told him
" Is that so ?"
" Maybe , maybe not " I said to him
I picked up my menu and it was in Italian . Im guessing I looked confused
" You don't know Italian ? " He asked
" No , I never wanted to learn it, I know Spanish , German and French " I said to him " and obviously English " I laughed at the last part
" Wow , I'm surprised, since all your brothers know the language but ok I'll order for the both of us " I told him smiling
I nodded , not wanted to fuss, it's ok Ivory just get through this dinner and everything will be fine
" So will you be attending the De Rio charity ball next weekend ? " He said once the waiter left
" Yes, it's Isabelle's father ball and she's my best friend " I said to him taking a sip of my apple sider while he had champagne
" I'll ask you to be my date but i doubt you'll be comfortable " he said
" Correct. I don't want people to think that I'm the next one on the Campbell list , and talk about me " I told him looking down
" Ivory. People will talk about you no matter what , just keep your head held high ok ?" He said to me almost like if he cared
" Yeah, so are you going ? " I asked him
" Yes. De Rio is a very good friend of mine . But I doubt will be going with anyone " he said to me looking into my eyes. " is anyone joining you that night ?"
" I don't know yet, either I'll go with Collin or just with my brothers , dad and my uncle " I said to him, he was about to say something but the waiter came with our food. I'm most likely sure he was about to ask who Collin was, I know that Collin doesn't go to those events and he will probably like to hang out with his friends . I will too but it's Isabelle's dad event so I had to go
We stayed silent through out our meal
Once we finished we just sat there . I got up and went to the edge of the the balcony , he didn't notice right away but once I got there he started to walk towards me
" I love this place, in all honestly Mr Campbell , this has been a good dinner, the view is breath taking and the food I amazing ! " I told him , he stood there and just nodded
The breeze hit me and I shivered
" Are you cold?" he asked
" Nope it's just chill but it feels good " I said to him lying , the last thing I want is for him to think I'm flirting
" What are you thinking about ? " he asked me once again
" Nothing " I said lying again , I'm thinking about Collin , I mean we aren't in a relationship but this doesn't feel right , but it feels right I don't know
My thoughts him got interrupted when I felt a hand on my bare shoulder
" Ivory , you're freezing " he said " here have my jacket " he told me taking off his suit blazer
" No I'm ok really, I don't want you to be cold
" Ivory " he growled
" Yes Mr Campbell " I said annoyed " I might as well inform you that I'm very stubborn so don't out up a fight with me " I hissed at him and didn't bother to protest
" So I'm guessing you have the Parks attitude ? " He said and I could feel him behind me
" Yes , one of the few things I get from my family " I told him
He did the unexpected next . He wrapped his arms around me and I could instantly feel his body heat.
" Oh my lil red " he whispered in my ear
I giggled at his nickname " that's the ugliest nickname ever ! " I told him
" Isn't that the point of nicknames ? " He said kissing my shoulder
" Not really but that's ugh don't call me that ! " I told him my arms were still to my side
" You know you act like if you never had a boyfriend or a guy has never hugged you before " he said changing the subject
" How ? " I said to him
" Well because I'm holding you like this and your arms are just hanging there like nothing and the same thing happened when I hugged you earlier " he told me
" Well that's because I don't want to but I would if I wanted to " I said
" Then do it prove me your point "
"Ok then ! " I said and put my arms right on top of his
" Much better baby " he told me , usually I would get mad but the way he said it it made my heart flutter
We stayed quiet
" I should head home , I need to go to bed for school tomorrow " I said letting him go
" No , lil red come back here "he pulled and this time I was leaning on his chest " thank you for coming , really Ivory . Wow you're super cold! I guess I'll have to hug you more " he said
" No need for that , now can we go ? I really need to sleep " I told him pleading
" Ok lil red but on one condition , see me again tomorrow " he said
" I don't know " I told him, he let me go but grabbed my waist and held it
" Come on please my lil red " he said kissing me cheek
" Um ok I guess... but on one condition ! " I said to him " you stop calling me lil red " I told me seriously
" Ok sweet pea " he said brushing his lips against mine
" Ewww but that's better I guess " I told him
I hold my breathe after that, he just kept staring at my lips and he was so close . oh gosh I thought to myself . I felt nervous !!!! He was so close when someone interrupted us . I cursed in my head
" Mr Campbell sorry to disturb you but the paparazzi are outside " the young waiter told him . Xavier curse user his breath
" Ok thank you for the heads up " he told him " oh and have my car outside now! ill be leaving with my lady now " he said giving orders. He called me his lady .. no Ivory! he is bad news
" Here put my jacket around your head. You'll be safe ok? " he told him handing me his jacket
We were getting closer and closer, I couldn't see but I could hear. I mean , I as Ivory Parks got followed by paps but these seemed like so many!
" Mr Campbell, who's the new one ? " One yelled
" Why are you hiding her ? " " Xavier , I she just a one night stand " I kept hearing all these comments! I wanted to tell them off !
Once I got into the car, and Xavier started to drive . I waited for his instructions for when I can stop hiding
" We are out of sight now sweet pea." He said stopping
" Oh "
" I'm sorry , I thought they wouldn't find me " he told him as he started to drive
" It's ok, at least they didn't see me! I don't wanna be on a newspaper cover tomorrow with Xavier Campbell " I said
" What is that suppose to mean ? " He said quite angry
" C'mon Xavier ! If anyone finds out about this, you're dead! I'm a minor , I'm Ivory Parks! They will destroy you! and plus, I don't wanna be known as the girls you fuck and ditch " I told him
" You're not ! You will never be those Ivory ok? And who will destroy me ? Your brothers? Ha ! I'll like to see them try " he hissed and drove away faster
" You don't know them! They will kill anyone who hurts me! Look this is the first and last that we will ever see each other , ok? The only time is at my fathers office " he hissed at him back
He stopped and pulled over
" Don't fucking say that! Ivory Parks I want you bad and I need you ! it's been 3 days since I seen you and it's terrible! Now I'll pick you tomorrow at the same spot and time " he said look dead at me
" No! I don't - " I was cut off by his lips pressing on mine, oh gosh this felt so good but so wrong, his soft angel lips. No Ivory! you can't do this to Collin. I pushed him off, " drive Campbell ! " I yelled . He obeyed
I had to text Isabelle so she can expect me at the secert entrance

She texted back with an ok.
We have been driving for over 30mins in dead silence .
" Ivory, look I'm sorry ok? " Mr Campbell said
" Don't worry Mr. Campbell, nothing ever happened " I told him and give him a sweet innocent fake smile
" That's the first time you actually smiled at me and it's fake wow, that would be a good memory " he said " and call me Xavier sweet pea " he added on
" Mr. Cam- I mean Xavier , does it matter? I mean you can have any women ! I won't really matter so why try? " I told him
" You do matter Ivory. A lot actually. You're different from the rest of them, you haven't flirted with me once this whole evening, when I kissed you , you pushed me away and everytime I try to flirt or sweet talk you you don't give a shit " he said laughing
" That's correct, and I'll never give one shit about you! because I know well how you play those women and I'm not gonna be one of those" I said he pulled over to the back of my house " goodnight Mr. Campbell " I said opening my door and walking
I heard him groan, then he got out " Ivory wait! " he yelled but that didn't stop me and neither did he, next thing you know it he was right behind me dragging me closer to him
" Ivory, don't do this I beg you, please. I'm not looking to hurt you, promise. You're the last person I'll ever hurt, your innocence and sweetness drives me crazy, it's a miracle you came tonight. Please let me have one more date . please baby " he told me and with the back of his hand he carelessly touched my cheek and brushed his fingertips on my lips.
" Mr. " I was cut off by his lips gently on mine. Shit I couldn't resist this , it was so gentle so loving , I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him down and closer while he pulled close as well
" Call me Xavier " he said pulling away and resting his forehead on mine even tho he had to bend down
" Xavier , " I started he looked at me with eyes that he was promising he will never hurt me but should I believe him? " ok tomorrow what time ? " I said
" 5:30 , wear something causal sweet pea, goodnight my Ivory " he said kissing me and leading me to the back door
" Good night Xavier " I said I was turning half way when a pair of arms grabbed me and started kissing my neck " Xavier , let me go I have to get to my room or I'll never be able wake up tomorrow " I said to him
" then don't, come with me " he told me and then we heard a car pull up . I could hear voices and no other than my Dads , my uncle and my three brothers
" Shit Xavier ! Thats my dad ok bye " I said pushing him away and I went upstairs dashing
When I got to my room Isabelle was waiting there with a smirk on her face
" Oh Ivory , I saw that " she winked " you guys are cute but isn't to risky ? " She added
" Isabelle look my dad is home! I'm going to have a quick shower, you can sleepover ok love " I said quickly and went into the bathroom
Oh gosh what have I go myself into I said while showering
