::it's short cause I don't really have time to upload anymore sorry also I forgot to mention that they are on a field trip::

Lance's POV

I walked down to the bus stop, rubbing my face where Pidge had hit me with the ball.
"Still a sore loser?" She asked me while running ahead to get to the bench first.
She's really cute when she tries to do everything first..
She triumphantly stood on the bench.
"Haha! Those skinny sticks of yours would break if you tried to run!"
"Yea, those stubby legs wouldn't break, but at least I'm tall."
She glared at me.
The bus came early.
Then that's when it hit me.
Did I..like Pidge? Pfff! I liked Allura. But then again, she likes that other dude. Lotor.
"Hello? Lover boy? The bus is gonna leave you if you don't hurry up!"
I got on the bus, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw Allura with Lotor.
My heart sank as I sat next to Pidge.

"This field trip is gonna be great!" She said excitedly.
"Yay. Space."
Pidge looked at me and sighed.
"I don't get it. I thought you were excited?"
"Yea. Excited to see Allura. But now that chance is gone."
Pidge studied my face.
"So you like her? Alot?" She grew quiet.
"Not anymore I guess."

The rest if the trip was okay. Pidge said I fell asleep, but I'm pretty sure I was awake the whole time.
When we got to the Garrison Academy for Space Exploration, Pidge was out of her mind!
I had never seen her so excited.
She grabbed my hand and ran to catch up with the others, because she was standing around and taking it all in.

Pidge's POV

It was fascinating!
I had never seen so many telescopes and books in my life!
I looked behind my shoulder to see the others.
Hunk was the only one who seemed interested.
Lotor and Allura were off to the side, kissing?
Ew. Good thing they aren't near me!
Lance was staring at them, with a sad look on his face.

"Lance! Have you seen so many books in your life?" I asked.
"No. And I honestly don't care."
"Idiot."
He stomped up to me.
"Excuse me, but have you seen the others? I'm the last person you should be calling idiot!"
I rolled my eyes and walked on.
I felt a hand spin me around.
I looked straight at Lance.
I glared at him and took his arm off of my shoulder.

He looked mad. But sad.
Deep down, I knew how he felt.
When you like somebody, but they have their heart set on somebody else.
And you never get the chance to tell that person how you feel because they're always with their partner.
So I hugged him.

"What?"
"It's a hug, lover boy. Don't get used to it."
"Oh. Right. I guess I can't win over all the ladies, right tater tot?"
I rolled my eyes again.
I took his slender hand and walked on.
This trip is gonna be really interesting.
