especially since i usually write this specific story on my computer and hey my computer is no longer working.

WELL ANYWAYS AFTER LIKE A MILLION YEARS I HAVE A FEW THINGS TO CLEAR UP!

first of all, i never expected anyone to actually read this story, so first, thank you soo much, it honestly means so much to me because i really like this story. and second, this means i made a lot of mistakes.. like on the ages, and a lot of other stuff. so i went back and fixed a few of those things, and when i'm finished with this story, i'll go back and edit everything!

secondly, a whole lot of you are confused on how this story is working, and it's totally my fault, so i'll try and explain. (also there's a disclaimer in the first part of this book now for new readers, so they don't get as confused.)

anyway, this story is alternating between present time and a few years ago whenever River and Vanity encountered each other. i went back and put dates at the beginning of each chapter to try and clear things up, so please go back and check those so you understand better.

the story will go in the order of, (each new paragraph is a new chapter):

present time

the # (first, second, etc.) time (pt. I)

(pt. II)

(pt. III)

then the same pattern will continue. this means that their (seven) meetings will be put into three parts.

and thirdly, yes River has memory loss. no he does not remember Vanity. York mentioned (we don't know how much or what he told him about her) Vanity to River, so River as a human, is generally curious to meet this girl that he 'hooked up' with a lot in the past. i'm going to go ahead and tell you that River's memory loss is goes back, but is not limited to about four [SUBJECT TO CHANGE, it may change to three year or five or six, i don't actually have that set in concrete yet] years ago. he has no recollection of Vanity, but he does remember York because they've been close friends since elementary. York is still upset, obviously, because his friend essentially lost four years of their friendship. THIS WILL BE BROUGHT UP AT SOME POINT IN THE STORY. I'M ONLY STATING THIS BECAUSE SO MANY OF YOU ARE VERY CONFUSED, (with good reason, i'm not blaming you for being confused, it's totally my fault.) River still knows schooling and stuff, those things stuck, just more the emotional and personal things. again, this is further explained later in the story.
